I need a second remote, and according to what I've read, the only way to get one is to repurchase the entire unit:
No, there isn't a way to change the On/Off control on the outlet itself. The On/Off switch can only be turned on and off using the remote.
There's no reason why it shouldn't work with an extension cord plugged in from both ends. I connected my shop vac and table saw to the power strip after plugging the wireless control into it. With the remote, I was able to turn on and off the vacuum cleaner and the saw.
It should work if your Halloween props are powered by plug-in electric power. This gadget is essentially a heavy-duty ON-OFF switch. Anything plugged into a wall outlet has an OFF switch. The remote control is plugged into an outlet, and your electrical device is plugged into the remote control's built-in outlet. I have a shop vacuum that is plugged into this device and is placed overhead and out of reach. It works perfectly. Those who didn't receive instructions or think this is a plug-and-play device should know that the remote must be "paired" with the main unit that plugs into the wall outlet. br>br>1) Remove the protective film from the remote battery compartment (mine tore when I tried to pull the external tab without removing the battery cover)br>2) Press the remote button - 3) Plug main unit into wall (red LED on unit will flash for 30 seconds) That is your window of time to press the remote button to "pair" the two, after which the flashing LED on the main unit should stop.
My 2HP harbor freight dust collector works perfectly with this remote control starter. The remote works anywhere I stand in my 25x25 shop, and it is plugged directly into my wall outlet. It's as simple as unboxing it, plugging the outlet into whatever you're using it for (in my case, a dust collector), and it's ready to go. I attached it to a lanyard to make it easier to keep track of and locate.

It was a little difficult to set up for a newbie like me, but here's how it goes: turn the battery switch to open and lift off the battery cap to remove the plastic tag (the plastic tag is not visible; you must lift off the battery cap to remove it). Then plug the unit into the plug outlet, press down on the on button on the remote control while it is still blinking, and it will be synced. I tried waiting for the blinking to stop, but it didn't work, so do it now while it's blinking. Press the on button to turn it off, and I've found that holding it down for a few seconds turns it back on. Overall, I'm pleased with the product, and I like that I can use it for my outdoor lighting in all types of weather.

If my memory serves me correctly, it will be in the year 2023. The Fosmon Outdoor Wireless Remote Control Outlet works great even over a 70-foot distance from my house to my shed. It's what I use on my Flowtron BK- To turn it on at dust, use the 40D Electronic Insect Killer, which has a 1 Acre Coverage. at the crack of dawn I tried it in the kitchen at the front of my house to see if it would work. through two walls in the corridor It was discovered that it could be used through two walls as well as the Shed wall. My wireless control is also located inside my shed, with an electric wire running through a hole in the shed to the Flowtron BK-1000. My Woods on/off would not work very well standing on the back patio facing the shed, so I hung a 40D Electronic Insect Killer outside my shed. I was astounded by how well it worked over such a long distance. I am extremely satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable long-range remote control.
