This device was purchased a few weeks ago. It was simple to plug in, and I loved the remote control feature, which made turning on and off my small outdoor fountain a breeze. It became clear after a few days that it was turning on by itself. I sent an email to the company and received a response within one day; They requested the model number and stated that a replacement would be sent out right away. They didn't even require a receipt or the return of the item. The replacement arrived in three days (which is incredible given the COVID crisis), and they followed up with an email asking for feedback on how it was working. It's fantastic! Great group of people!.

Update: After about a year of use, the remote control stopped working. Two stars have been added to the rating. This is how I keep track of the shop. br>br> For my wood shop, I have a vac hooked up to a dust extractor. I don't have to go to the store because of this. Every time I turn on my table saw, I vacuum. It's been a couple of months since I got it and it's fantastic. It has a button on the outlet part that you can use to turn it on and off without having to use the remote. This is something that isn't available at other stores. It's useful when you're standing next to the vacuum and realize the remote is across the room.

This remote does exactly what it says on the package. I used it indoors to turn on and off a desk heater instead of getting down on my hands and knees to turn on and off the small heater in the chair cutout area. br>br>The outlet had a small rainguard shelf over the socket that I had to cut off in order to plug in the heater. The switch has a strong positive action, but it does not beep to indicate whether it is on or off. A CR 2023 3v button battery powers the remote. It is necessary to unscrew the case- Three of them- To get to the battery, you'll need to go through the following steps. br>br>I can't say how well this outlet would work outside (which is why I gave it a three-star rating for that feature), but I couldn't find anything better or cheaper in a three-pronged switched cord (the other switched power cords are two-prong with a foot switch).

I can't reach an outlet above the door to plug in or unplug my patio lights because it's located above the door. I was able to screw it above the door with the 2 ft extension so that I could reach it. The remote control is also an excellent feature. I expected this one to have a timer because I had seen so many similar products with a timer function, but I was mistaken! I'm only mentioning it in case someone else does the same thing and needs the timer badly. There isn't one for this. I'm pleased with my purchase of this product.

I read some online reviews about people having problems with certain plugs, particularly 90-degree angle plugs, which I was using at the time. I took a chance on this because I knew it would be a problem, and I just wanted to let people know it's a fixable issue. Because the device's plastic lip is solid, you can dremel it off quickly and safely to make it compatible with whatever you're plugging it into. Just be cautious about delving too deeply into the device. It now works perfectly with the extension cord I've connected it to after the modification.

We have several Christmas light plugins, and having to turn them on and off every day was inconvenient. I purchased a few of these remote control outlets, and now we can turn off and on all of our lights from a single location. They've done an excellent job so far. Each connector has a corresponding remote switch that controls it on a specific channel. According to the Amazon comments, there are a number of possible channels, so you can have multiple switches, each with its own controller, and they won't interfere with each other because they're on different channels. A small Channel ID label on both the controller and the connector indicates which channel a particular control uses, so you can tell which connector each one operates if you have multiple controllers. According to what I've read, the channel assigned to a connector you buy is determined before you buy it. You can't specify which channel your connector should get, and you can't specify which channel it should get. It's simply a matter of picking something at random. I've been using three controllers on a daily basis for about five weeks with no issues.

  This is what I got for my computer's external vent. There is no switch on the exhaust fan. With this wireless switch, it's as simple as turning it on and off. Because it's inside, I can't comment on the weatherproofing, but it does come with a keychain. br>br>It's a little excessive, but the reviews on this one were better than others. This one had a significantly lower price. Yes, this can also be a deciding factor. It does not interfere with any other blue tooth signals. br>br> That is VERY important because it is usually on while I am gaming. br>br>It's very simple to use: plug it in, turn it on, and use the remote to turn it on. The device allows electricity to flow to whatever destination you desire. It's just a single because that's all I need. When it's hot outside, turn on the fan in the back room. 3D printing with the heater on in the winter. It's that simple. There is a very bright red light when it is turned on. br>br> I'd also like to point out that the two buttons are the same color, so I used a marker to identify the on button. Get this if you need an outlet remote. br>br> The range is adequate; I can turn it on from downstairs, but I keep it within 4 feet of the outlet. It is turning on the vent fan unit. I'd like a second remote, so if I can't get one from the manufacturer, I'll have to look for a generic one.

Pretty straightforward, but it's worth noting that the timer (as well as the remote) has an on/off button. This isn't a feature I use every day, but it's handy when I'm outside and want to turn on the connected lights without having to go inside. Also, the cord is longer than most similar plugs I've purchased from a big box hardware store. This timer has made me very happy.
