It's very easy to operate. After watching a YouTube video on timers like this, I decided to do something about it. Down on the tumblers, it's on, and up on the tumblers, it's off. Pull up all the tumbler keys and push down the hours you want it to run your lights when you take it out of the box. Then set the time arrow to the current time, which is 30 minutes for each tumbler. Connect it to the wall outlet and set the timer. All done.
This was a fairly well-constructed piece, in my opinion. The timer has failed to function. To bad. br>Recent changes: Dewenwils contacted me shortly after my review to express his dissatisfaction with what had occurred. The timer had stopped working, I explained. The item has been replaced by Dewenwils! Excellent customer service; I've ordered a number of items, and if any of them go bad, it's too bad because your 30-day return period has expired. I was about to dismiss it as "too bad" for my liking. I haven't yet plugged in the new item and will do so when I do, but I just wanted to thank Dewenwils for their excellent customer service! m. 30am - 10: 30pm. It's tough and dependable, and it can handle the heat, monsoon rains, and dust storms in Arizona with ease. It's what I use to turn on and off the fountain in my backyard. Every morning and evening, my hummingbirds come to drink. I'm on my third summer with this product (long, hot summers) and just had to replace the pump because the weather finally took its toll. But what a trooper, and such a bargain to replace compared to the other pumps I examined. And I was able to replace it in less than 24 hours thanks to Amazon's fantastic Prime delivery service! This pump will not let you down.
Update: The Timer/On slide switch had recently failed, as I had previously reported. Within 24 hours, Dewenwils customer service contacted me and informed me that a replacement unit would be sent to me. This company's response and concern for the situation has impressed me. I endorse them for any product they work on. (End)It was perfect for controlling my pond pumps and aerator with this switch. The individual time selection tabs make it simple to set up. The only drawback is that the connector for the plug wire could be a little longer.
High-quality materials were used in the construction of this item. I wanted more than one 'on' (as opposed to on-and-off) period. twilight / twilight / twilight / My outdoor outlet is in a rainy location, so I needed a short, flat plug power cord. The use of heavy-duty, straight power plugs is prohibited by the use of a proof box.
When I removed the box from the Amazon envelope, I noticed that the seal had been broken, indicating that it was most likely someone else's used return. No plastic packaging or documentation were present when the box was opened. Furthermore, I heard something rattling around inside the timer (perhaps a transformer or a solder piece that had fallen off the PCB). The timer unit also emitted a strong odor of electrical charge. To be honest, I wasn't surprised when the device didn't work at all. br>br>Unfortunately, I ordered it before Christmas and only got a chance to try it out in early January, when returns were not possible. br>br>Aside from the aforementioned issue, I found this unit to be extremely light. made for a low price Do I understand correctly that you get what you pay for? lol 😹.
Although the greenhouse can get quite humid, with moisture condensing and dripping, it is generally protected from direct hard rain. br> It's performing admirably in these circumstances. This is a high-quality product at an affordable price. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for weatherproofing because, according to the instructions, the outlets must be pointed downward. Although simple to use, the timer function is counterintuitive: when the timer is on, you lift the tabs up; when the time is off, you lift the tabs down. The majority of the units are pushed down.
