If you plug the outlet into a top receptacle, the bottom receptacle will become available for another appliance. A power strip or an extension cord will work well with this device if needed.
The kit is only $13 and comes with everything you need to get started. For only $18, you can get a three-outlet kit. I doubt it will be less than $13 for the remote only. You can purchase these and have the plug quickly "learn" the new remotes.
It can be plugged into a wall and then a six-foot extension cord is plugged into it. If you want, you can use an outlet strip to run three separate items that aren't connected to each other. Yes, you could use your remote to control only one item by plugging it into the controlled outlet.
They are compatible with each other and can be used in close proximity.

alkaline battery of a particular size - It's unlikely that a replacement battery will be available anywhere in the United States.
On the remote, there are three buttons to push. This is something I purchased and it is fantastic. However, it only has one outlet, but the remote control has buttons for two additional remote controls. That strikes me as odd. I'm not sure if I'll be able to use this remote on another outlet if I order one. It appears to me that you would sell a remote control with three buttons and three plugs.
Turns on for a brief moment before shutting down. As long as I keep the power button on the remote pressed, the light will stay on. Useless.
It became extremely warm to the touch as soon as I inserted the battery. It didn't even work in the first place. This was going in my child's room, so there was no way I was going to leave something that got extremely hot after a single use. I'll be back on the spot.
A long, dark entryway was created when the living room was converted into a room. I could have had an electrician come out and rewire it, but instead I just plugged it in. It was connected to a lamp. I hung the remote control near the front door on the wall. Velcro was used in this project. It took me less than two minutes to set everything up. There was no need to program this. I just bought a single outlet and a single remote control. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED!.
My Blu- The flaw in the Ray player is that it will not always turn off. If I don't unplug it after pressing the off button, it will simply blink the word OFF at me for days. And therein lay the crux of the issue: the Blu-ray player's power outlet Ray has found himself in an awkward situation. To stop the infernal blinking, I had a hard time unplugging the damn thing. Then I remembered that a few years ago, I had an outdoor light accessory that allowed me to turn off the socket with a remote control when it wasn't in use. So I went in search of one that could be used indoors and came across this. It performs admirably. I plugged it into the wall outlet and then into the Blu-ray player. Take a look at that. I don't get worked up anymore if it won't turn off. I simply depress the socket's Off button, and the Blu-ray player turns off. Ray's blinking comes to an end. I didn't have to move anything to get to the socket, which saved me a lot of time and effort. There are no unsightly wires to deal with because the remote is wireless. If you can come up with a use for something like this, go for it. You'll be glad you took the time to do so.
I connected the switch to the cord that led to a ceiling lamp that didn't have one. Then I inserted the battery into the remote and turned it on; it worked. My light was switched on as a result. I expected to have to do some programming. But, no, I didn't even read the instructions, and it worked right away; how often does that happen? This is an excellent item.

I'm a guy, and I'm interested in learning more about you. br>Moreover, the remote is capable of working over a very long distance. br>I haven't figured out what the upper limit is yet.
