Yes. Mine is set up behind and to the right of a queen-sized foam mattress. That's a lot more padding than most couches have.
The frequency of operation is 433 times per minute. 92 MHZ.
I believe it should remember because my lamp has two settings and when I turn it back on, it returns to the previous setting.
I'm confident you'll be able to do it. I purchased two sets of three plugs, as well as one remote for each set. From the first button on one remote, I was able to control all six outlets. You should be capable of completing a wide range of tasks.

Two of them continue to be employed. The opposite is not true. They're sold with a remote control. To turn them off and on, simply plug them in and press the appropriate button on the remote. I used mine with lamps and they initially worked fine, so I emailed Century and requested a replacement through their website. I'll update this review if they stick to the warranty. I would have given it five stars if one of the components had not failed. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. I contacted Century, and within a week, they had sent me a new outlet with simple pairing instructions. I've installed a remote control for the fully functional outlets.
Operation was flawless- It's simple to set up and use, and it works flawlessly. One problem is that the module is bulky and appears to cling to the prongs by a thread. THE BIGGER PROBLEM IS THAT AFTER YOU ADD THE EXTRA LENGTH OF THE PLUG ON THE END OF THE CORD, ANY FURNITURE IN FRONT OF THE OUTLET MUST BE AT LEAST 3" INCHES FROM THE WALL, AND THIS APPEARS OFF. "Winner winner chicken dinner!" they'd say if they made the module hug the wall better and plugged the appliance in from the side rather than the front.
I did my homework and purchased two well-reviewed brands. They both behaved in the same manner. The app worked fine for the first few times, but then the outlet switches stopped responding to the app. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app on my phone every time I left and returned home because the switches would not respond to commands from the app. It had been a huge snafu. I came across these while looking for a similar product that wasn't bluetooth-based, and I'm in love! All I wanted to do was turn on my lights when I got home to a dark house and turn them off all at once when I left. I simply hang the small remote near my front door, return home, and press the button. Voila! There's no need to be concerned about a lack of wireless connectivity, Bluetooth issues, or app errors. This product is incredibly easy to use and set up (and much less annoying than the Clapper). If you're looking for a simple and dependable way to turn your electronics on and off with a remote, I highly recommend this product!.
Nothing happens when you press the extra button. I enquired with BN_Link about the function of the'seventh' button at the bottom of the page. It has no effect. This seventh button was designed to be an ALL ON/ALL OFF switch by the remote control's designers. The manufacturer, on the other hand, implemented the button but not its functionality. As a result, the additional button is useless.
I like these a lot because of the ridiculous range they have; I have a house that is over 100 feet long. I have these set up in my living room, which is at one end of the house, and I occasionally bring the remote into my bedroom, which is at the other end of the house, allowing me to control the lights in the living room from my bedroom, which is over 100 feet away through only 10 thick walls, and since I have terrible sleeping habits, I can turn on the lights in the living room without having to turn on and off lights along the way. Alternatively, I can turn off the living room lights from my bedroom without fear of incurring a large electrical bill. br>br>I also like that the ones I was replacing since the remote stopped working (different brand, think I got them at Lowe's) have an on/off switch on the receivers, whereas the others didn't, which meant that when the remote died, I had to dismantle everything and do a lot of annoying things to dumb down the lamp again. So I'm not out of luck if this remote fails again. The design is fantastic. Also, I'm pretty sure I already bought these and didn't realize it, but whatever. There's no such thing as having too many. br>br>To sum it up, I really enjoy them. The only criticism is that, regardless of the design, you will lose at least one outlet. I used extensions to get around the problem. As a result of this, the star has been docked. It does, however, work well. I'm just not a fan of smart devices or wifi. I'm 32 and not overly paranoid, but when the internet goes down, which it does frequently around here, those become useless. As a result, this is a pleasant compromise between the old and the new.
We have three standing or tabletop lamps in our living room because there is only one wall light switch. The use of these remote-controlled switches has made them a lot easier. I attached the remote to the table between my and my husband's favorite chairs with velcro so that the grandkids couldn't easily take it. Ours has only been in use for four days, but all three of them are functioning properly. These have the added benefit of being small and only leaving one plug-in. You can use the vacuum cleaner or whatever else you want in the receptacle. They come fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box. Replace the battery in the remote, then match the number on the receiver to the number on the remote. There is no need to program this. The only question now is how long it will take for you to live. I'll update this review if I think it's necessary, but for now, I'll just say we're pleased with the product.
Perfect - There's no need to waste any more time trying to find that switch. Because I am disabled, I realized that even reaching for a tall lamp could be difficult. This was a brilliant idea. I can adjust the brightness of the lamp and turn it on from any room in the house. It's a safe way for me to add light to my path around the house. The only issue I'm having is determining which three lamps will be given this cool feature. Century Wireless has done an excellent job.
HINT: A three-way lamp cannot be adjusted with this item. Simply set your lamp to the desired brightness level, and if you require more light, reach for the lamp knob and turn it. The ability to use the lamp's three-way functions should be added as a next feature.
