I have no idea. I'm aware that each outlet can have its own set of on and off times. For my Christmas tree lights, I only have one plug. Anything beyond that is out of my reach.
Yes, you can use this timer at different times throughout the day.

We live in the country, and our power goes out frequently. When the electricity is turned back on, the settings on a manual timer are reset, but not at the same time. It's running on our pool pump at the moment. Programming was simple the first time around, and it will be intuitive in the future (so I won't have to look for the manual). I have a 5-foot upside-down ladder that I keep in my office. Even though it is advertised as water resistant, I put a gallon bucket over it to keep rain/pool water off of it. A manual bypass to turn on the electricity without unplugging from the timer and plugging into an outlet would be a nice feature. However, because I've programmed the timer to turn on the pump when we do the majority of our swimming, that feature may not be as useful. br> Oh, wait, there's more. The timer requires two AA batteries, according to the manual, but only one is required. br> One last tip: unscrew two small screws to remove the battery compartment. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL TO FIND THE ORIGINAL THREAD PATTERN WHEN REPLACING THEM AFTER A BATTERY IS INSTALLED. If not, the plastic hole's integrity may be jeopardized over time. This is how I go about doing it. I use only my fingers to gently insert the screw into the hole. I then use a screwdriver to turn the screw slowly COUNTER clockwise, as if I were UNscrewing it, with the screw aligned straight with the hole. When the screw "finds" the original imprint in the plastic, it will "click" lightly once per revolution. STOP RIGHT THEN and turn the screwdriver clockwise to get the screw to follow the factory-made path into the plastic. This method works on both wood and metal, and it has saved me a lot of time, money, and aggravation in the past. April 2021: br>br>April 2021: br>br>April 2021: br>br> This timer continues to function correctly. I've seen some negative feedback, but our pool continues to follow the instructions of this tiny timer's brain. This season has already been checked. br>Here's a thought: I keep an inverted 5-, as I stated in my original post. To keep the timer from getting wet from pool water or rain, place a gallon bucket over it. (During the winter, I also bring it inside. ) ) I have a feeling that keeping it dry keeps it functioning, but I'm not sure. Also, every spring, I replace the battery.
Initially, the product was simple to set up and use, and it performed admirably for about a month. br>br>Then, even though it was set to "on," it simply stopped conducting current. " It still remembers my timer settings, but it can't be used as an extension cable. " I would not advise anyone to use it. 1. br>br> I'm out a few dollars on this lemon because it's been 5 months since I received it.
1- The plug has an 18-inch pigtail
2- It can be hung because it has an eye hook on the back.
3- Because it has a slot for an AA battery, it won't lose its settings if the power goes out.
4- It's enormous and appears to be well-constructed. br>5- It was fairly simple to set off times (and the directions were simple to follow).
6- It is completely silent, with no ticking or turning on/off sounds.
7- has 2 - Outlets with three prongs (both on the same setting).
8- Because it is digital, it turned on and off at the exact time I specified. Farewell, mechanical types. The outlets (on the bottom) are recessed a little more than 1/8 inch, which was the only issue I had. I'd switched out the extension cord plug for one of those big screw-on types. It's just an eighth of an inch too big to fit in the recess. I wish the recess had been a little bigger).
This product is adequate in general, but some design flaws may irritate you. I can attest to this. This unit's "programmability" is excellent - It is simple to set up and appears to function properly. The only minor gripe I have is that when the unit is set to "auto," there is no indication whether it should be sending power or not. As a result, determining whether or not it should work can be difficult. br>br>However, if you have a larger plug, such as the one I'm using, which includes GDFI safety built-in (ground fault indicator - GFI), the real design flaw is that if you have a larger plug, such as the one I'm using, which also includes GDFI safety built-in (ground fault indicator - GFI), the real design flaw is that if you have a larger plug If you're looking for an above-ground pool pump, you won't be able to plug it in because the plugs are recessed. As you can see in the photo, I needed to use a grey plug extension. The other, more serious issue is that when this unit turns off automatically, it trips the GDFI breaker, preventing it from turning on again because the GDFI has been tripped. As a result, I have to manually reset the GDFI on a daily basis, which defeats the purpose of an automatic timer. Ugh. To be honest, I'm not sure if it's the unit or my GDFI plug that's at fault. However, if this is similar to your use case, it's something to think about.
UPDATE: This business contacted me to inform me that they had switched manufacturers and that the quality of their products would be significantly improved. They've offered me a refund for the defective merchandise I received in the first place. I've changed my rating to 5 stars because of the excellent customer service. They appear to have received a large number of recent 5-star reviews, and their products appear to have improved. This product and company come highly recommended by me. br>br>Original Post: I bought this to automate the turning on and off of my Christmas lights. I used the book's programming guide. When the lights were set to turn on, they did so. They wouldn't turn off when they were supposed to, which was a problem. They'd either turn off hours before they were supposed to or just stay turned on. I went to Lowe's and purchased a manual timer, which has served me well. This digital programmer was completely useless. It is not something I would advise you to do.
This is a great little timer for outside use. I've been using it all winter to plug in my diesel pickup's block heater so that it only runs for a few hours before I leave in the morning. It's saved me a lot of money this winter over the cost of running my block heater all night last year.
