How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Based on ambient lighting, the sensor turns the light on or off automatically. A guide light that is energy-efficient consumes about a quarter of the energy that a standard light bulb consumes There are no bulbs to replace and only 1W of electricity is used.
Eliminates the need for a plug-in night light to be plugged into an outlet, which saves space.
The GFCI performs an automatic internal test on a regular basis to ensure that it can respond to a ground fault. This adds an extra layer of protection.
If a GFCI is damaged and cannot respond to a ground fault, the patented lockout action prevents it from being reset.
Design is slim and shallow, making installation easier.
Separately available wallplate

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use aluminum wire with this method?

Is this some kind of joke? Other than the fact that you're a nut for not replacing the aluminum wire in your home, why would aluminum wire work differently than copper wire?

Is it simple to put the plug in it? (I have a gftr2-based system.) kw, and it takes a lot of force to get the prongs into the tamper-resistant tamper-resistant tamper-resistant tamper-resistant tamper- Are you looking for a receptacle that is resistant to the elements?

When plugging a plug into the outlet, there is some resistance. It goes in without a hitch with a little wiggle.

Is it possible to get one with only one light and one USB port instead of two?

It appears unlikely, but the only way to be certain is to visit the Leviton website, which is updated frequently with new products.

Selected User Reviews For Leviton GFNL2-W Self-test SmartlockPro Slim GFCI Tamper-Resistant Receptacle with Guidelight and LED Indicator, 20-Amp, White

It was exactly what I needed, but it was very expensive! Because of the strange wiring in my condo, I needed a 20 amp GFCI in the guest bathroom, as well as a nightlight that didn't light up the room
4/5

This Leviton receptacle was perfect for the job, and its slim profile made replacing the old one a breeze. When compared to an older Leviton GFCI that it replaced, I noticed the load and charge lines are reversed in this model. If you don't require GFCI, I recommend the Legrand nightlight, which has five different adjustable light levels and is much more attractive. This GFCI receptacle is connected to two of them in my main bathroom: Strange wiring, to say the least! br>br>The only reason I took away a star is because of the price! Thanks for reading, and here are some photos of the Lutron Claro wallplate installed.

The strobe light is terrible! The sun is shining brightly, but the temperature is abnormally cool
3/5

It's a place where I can express myself. It works. However, you're interested in this item because of the built-in nightlight. The lighting is horrendous! br>br>First and foremost, the 6000k temperature color is extremely offensive. This color is appropriate for daytime/daylight activities, but any nightlight should be no less than 3700k to avoid eye strain at night. 2700k is the ideal temperature. Second, there are the light strobes! I had to take it down after a few days because it was so bad. br>br>Just keep your distance. Take a look around!.

A great idea - However, is it possible that it is not yet ready for primetime? The two-pack was purchased by me
3/5

br>br>The electrician installed the first one, which appeared to be in perfect condition, but I was unable to test the light function. Despite the fact that the indicator light was on, the GFIC did not work. He looked over the installation and couldn't find any flaws. He then put in the second one, which worked perfectly. br>br>I contacted Leviton support (which was a pain in the neck) and they asked me to send it back for inspection after weeks of waiting. Really? br>br>Until they improve their QA process, I wouldn't buy anything else or recommend it to anyone.

GFCI is an excellent choice
5/5

This was purchased as part of our bathroom renovation. Everything (towel warmers, lights, shower fan, and another lighted non-electric outlet) was run through the GFCI protected outlet. GFCI outlet near the sink), and my GFCI tester confirmed that they were all in good working order. I required the 20 amp capacity but was unable to locate it locally, and I prefer to use Leviton whenever possible. The light is blue but not too bright, allowing you to navigate the bathroom without turning on the overhead lights in the middle of the night. br>br>Overall, it was a fairly difficult job, and the outlet is quite pricey, but it made the job a little easier, and I would not hesitate to get another if I needed one.

It's simple to set up and completely foolproof
5/5

When it comes to electrical work, I'm not much of a handyman, but this outlet was designed with people like me in mind. It was simple to put together, and the manufacturer has provided several videos to assist customers like me. My builder screwed up the polarity on the previous gfci outlet, and I couldn't figure out what was causing it for years. It became clear after reading some of this manufacturer's materials. This gfci has a false check, so even if you miswire it, it won't work.

A functional GFI receptacle
5/5

In my second bathroom, I discovered that the builder's electrician failed to install a GFI receptacle. I did some research online and came across this receptacle made by a reputable company. It's simple to install, and since there's no window in the room, this one has a built-in night light that turns on when the room gets dark. It should only cost a buck or two per year. Now I'm aware of the importance of electrical safety as well as the potential dangers of entering a dark room.

Leviton is a company you should avoid
3/5

Garbage that is defective. I have outlets that are defective and only one side works, so this gfi outlet should have two night lights on either side. They appear to be defective, and when I called Christian, he assured me that there would be working outlets. I was then contacted by Rogelio, who had no idea what was going on and informed me that I would not be receiving any new outlets but that he would contact me later. After two weeks, there were no outlets, no follow-up phone calls, and nothing but non-working garbage.

If you don't have under-cabinet lighting, this is a good option
5/5

Let's get a few things out of the way first. This wasn't cheap, but it was comparable to what you'd pay at Lowe's or Home Depot. That being said, I purchased these because I do not have under cabinet lighting, and they help to illuminate the kitchen when it is dark. If you don't want to use your harsh bright lights in the bathroom, this is also a good option. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and would make it again in my next home.
