Questions & Answers
There are two vertical and one round connectors on the 15Amp. This is your typical plug. br>It's the 20Amp, which has one vertical and one horizontal, as well as a single round.
It shouldn't be a problem because the one you had previously had the ground removed, so it shouldn't be an issue. The safest products for outdoor use are Gfci receptacles.
It is defective, in my opinion, but that is beside the point. I've dealt with them before with a non-alcoholic beverage. Although you may have seen a working light before, depending on your application, it can be inconvenient or even dangerous.

In two days, I received it. The part number is the same as the original. Because all three wires are short, it's a little difficult to get them all into their slots at the same time; thus, only a three-star assembly rating. I plugged it in and started playing! A service call plus the part from Hot Springs would have cost around $200, and I'm not sure how long I would have had to wait. They advise owners to contact them for service because they want to test all of the components, including the heater. It was far less expensive to spend $20 on a diagnostic tool for this part, which was most likely the failed part, than to call for service. You'll appreciate the instructions, which are available in three languages: English, as well as, I believe, French and Spanish!.
a period of twelve months I wouldn't recommend this GFCI plug if you're looking for one for a 110v hot tub. We used them on our Softub hot tubs, and they only lasted about six months. We keep them out of direct sunlight and the rain for a year before they fail. We ultimately decided on this heavy-duty, outdoor-rated inline GFCI adapter. The GFCI section is extremely durable and well constructed, and it comes with a three-year warranty. We've had ours for over a year and have never had a problem with it, unlike the Levitons, which only lasted a few months.
Consider all of the items in your tank that have 120 volt cords running directly into the water; Install a GFCI outlet in the wall or use this item to plug into any standard unprotected outlet to keep your heater, power heads, and filters safe. It's important to note that you'll need to connect this to a female plug or, as I did, a power strip. I removed the male plug from the power strip and connected it to this GFCI outlet. BE SAFE!.
EDITbr>I'm updating this one-star review because the power cord to which this plug was connected recently showed signs of wear. I assumed the problem was with the plug, but it could have been a short that day. I threw the plug away, so I can't say for sure, but I'm going to give it a 5. br>br>For a few weeks, my unit worked fine, but then the test button stopped working.
I wanted a GFCI for safety reasons, but the location is inconvenient for installing a new outlet, and my plug-in adapter isn't compatible with the GFCI. When the power was turned off, the GFCI in the tool did not reset. This device can be reset, and the fans and heat-generating elements can be turned back on. The tapes continue to function normally - in a secure manner.
On the cord end of my Softub 300, there was an older Leviton GFCI that had begun to fail over time. The issue was that the plug's blades were getting extremely hot while in use due to internal resistance (cleaning the blades didn't help - The problem was caused by a malfunction within the unit). br>br>This unit is the current replacement for my Softub (15A unit, both blades in the same direction, for STW power cord), and it's a lot less expensive than buying it directly from the Softub dealer. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative There is a cheaper Leviton 15A unit available, but it isn't compatible with the STW sized power cord that I use on my Softub - Apart from the fact that it isn't rated for it, it won't fit. Advantages: br>br>
- GFCI cord end 15A direct replacement for my Softub (blades parallel to each other, STW power cord)br>- Rainproof (as is the case with the original)br>- a unit that is smaller than the originalbr>- came with everything I needed for my sized power cordbr>br>Now that it's working, the blades on the plug are nice and cool, just like they should be. It was repaired for a quarter of the cost of buying it from a Softub dealer.
This is a well-made, high-quality product that is simple to set up. It really works. Many strong-willed individuals This type of product can be found on the cable of washers. are abused in some way This works perfectly as a stand-in. Keep in mind the fact that you have a lot of power. Because the lug on the end is not made by the washer maker, there is no need to replace it. This is a fantastic choice.
I wasn't sure if the plug was the issue, but it seemed likely because the unit would turn on and off when I wiggled the plug in the outlet. I dismantled the old plug and found it to be in good working order, so I decided to try this. It came out perfectly, and it only took about 20 minutes to make. 30 minutes to remove the old one and replace it with the new one using the enclosed instructions. There were a couple of parts included with the kit that had different sizes - which had exactly what I was looking for. I got it set up, plugged it in, and it worked immediately. My Rug Doctor has begun to hum once more. I will admit that I saw a few other similar devices and was tempted to purchase one of them - One of the same brand names that came with the Rug Doctor was also included. I went with this one because it is a well-known brand. You get what you pay for by spending a few extra dollars. I would strongly suggest it.
