I don't recall it being advertised as an indoors-only event. Although the seal for outdoor boxes is usually included with the wall plate or box rather than the switch, it should be fine; however, I am not an electrician, so use caution.

This is the second set of lights I've made. On the previous generation, I had a couple of failures, but it was after eight years. On a relatively new technology, I was content with that lifetime. I think this one will last a little longer. Everything works perfectly, and there is just enough light to see in the dark. Some people dislike the brighter blue light because it stimulates the middle of their eyes more. I think it looks cleaner and more modern in the middle of the night. Furthermore, the amount of light is not excessive. I wouldn't put it where you have a direct line of sight from your bed, but I'd recommend it to anyone else.
I had no trouble installing this GFCI outlet, but it appears that I received a defective one, which was most likely returned to Amazon (the box was already torn and the tab on the cardboard box's "lid" was torn off and missing). It was a little frustrating because I had previously ordered two GFCI outlets (of a different brand) and both of them had the same problem with the night light not working. All of the units, I believe, had a defective photo cell sensor. The outlet portion of the device worked flawlessly and provided power to the devices I plugged into it. The outlet also worked fine when the "test" and "reset" buttons were pressed, indicating that it was properly wired. However, the night light would never turn on in my pitch-black bathroom, rendering this product largely useless to me.
Gfci is very nice. It's of good quality/sturdy construction, and it's simple to put together. However, I chose a Leviton GFNL1 because the LED nightlights (two instead of one) were brighter. In addition, I prefer the GFNL1s' power on indicators to the LeGrands'. That is, if you are extremely picky. Also, these rectangular outlets are not the same shape as my previous non-rectangular outlets. Plugs with a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter)-- As a result, I had to go to Amazon and purchase some single gangs. As stated in the listing, it is not included.

It is bright enough to light up the area around the bowl, ensuring that aim is not solely based on guesswork and noise. br>br>I believe this would provide enough light to be used as a highlight in a bathroom or passageway. Because the LED is so bright, the children have no trouble finding their way into the bathroom at night. I've had these installed in both my previous and current residences. This product comes highly recommended.
