The clever geniuses decided to use wire nuts (that were the wrong size-- They were too small) to be suitable for a 220V 40 amp heat pump. When I started or stopped this unit, it banged. I was curious why it did this. Due to some other electrical maintenance on the heat pump service line, I disassembled what formerly was a disconnect (it was moved after being converted to a j-box Wirebox) and stripped the new conductor, adding anti-static as per the instructions This split bolt was used to complete the connection after applying an oxidant. You know what I found out? No heat pump has ever been as quiet as this one. As described, it worked. A high-quality product.

There are a few bolt connectors on this board. It was really dumb of me not to read the description better, as a number 10 wire would not fit. A number 12 wire is definitely the heaviest wire according to me.
