The house I live in has two separate 240 VAC power meters in one distribution box- You will find the service panel on the left. Solar panels were retrofitted into my duplex five years ago, and I lived in one of the units where the output of the panels was connected to an auxiliary power supply An existing wiring connection is made by connecting tap 3 port connectors. The solar panels on the other side of the duplex were supplying energy to the unoccupied unit and selling it to the power company at 3 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh), while I was paying about 20 cents per kWh to consume energy in my 17 cents per kwh lost as a result of lost opportunity cost. Connectors were lubricated with antioxidants and fitted with caps to ensure a secure connection, because the connection ports were covered. The panels were closed and the breakers were thrown back on. Now solar energy is flowing into the side of the duplex I live in and I am using virtually all of the energy they generate. On the other duplex wiring, I did leave the second connector in place but sealed all the As a result of these multi-faceted strategies For connecting the solar panel (240 VAC) power to the house's mains power outlet, tap connectors are an excellent solution.
Construction of very high quality. Splices well with this software. A good level of service- I received my order.
It is larger than I anticipated and I am unable to accommodate it in my junction box since it takes up too much room. There will be a different route for me to take.
There are no problems with it.
