In my case it is installed on a 45 and just above the pit, so I can see the water flow and flap opening at a glance without removing the
I feel pretty confident it will work on the pool supply side, despite how tight it is. Pump it up on a basement sink pump to use it. It seems like the pressure and volume of a pool pump is much higher.
To tighten the check valve fitting, you first have to clean and glue the slip joint side of the fitting to 1 1/2" PVC pipe. After that, you can tighten the threaded quick connect part of the fitting. Please ensure that you measure and mark the distance between glued slip joints correctly so that you can remove or install threaded check valve fittings effectively.
Please say hello The question that you pose is very good. In that valve, there is only one port. The wand is spring-loaded and eliminates pipe hammer sounds and clunking noises when closed. I found one that works really well for me. Yet, how they came up with the "two ports" description is still a big

I don't hear any noise from this one.
This valve changed everything for me! Having this valve installed makes the business completely quiet. I have not heard a thing since I installed it. this is a clear picture so that you can see how it works. Thanks to the super easy installation, I look forward to a restful night's sleep in complete silence! As much as I would like to give this 6 stars, I can't. Never have I ever purchased something so inexpensive that gave me such a better quality of life. One of the best products I have ever used!.
This is amazing! The first time I saw this on a home show, I ordered it immediately from Amazon. After measuring and cutting the sump pump PVC pipe to the proper length of the check valve, I installed the valve and was astonished to hear nothing else but the water flowing into the valve after reconnecting the pump. Though I'm not sure how long this product has been on the market, I can assure you that There are millions of people who deal with the unnecessary BANG their sump pump makes, but are unaware that there is a simple fix for the problem that takes less than ten minutes to do! It is surely hoped that those who write the plumbing code books will recognize that the Zoeller Check Valve should be a required part of any sump pump installation in the future. After all, that bang probably won't mean anything to our grandchildren.
The two reasons I decided to replace my home depot check valve with this one was due to its noise reducing qualities. My first pump is a Zoeller one. In the event that their check valves have the same quality as their pumps, then their pump is well worth the price. I suggest that you go to Home Depot and pick up a sump pump and watch You can also check out Zoeller at a plumbing supply store. The night and day are two different things. A second issue I faced was the size of the check valve from Home Depot. My basement pump did not have the full capacity to pump the water from my basement, so I had to reduce the size from 1 1/2" to 1 1/4" then back to 1 1/4", preventing the flow of water from Additionally, I have to get every gallon my hands can hold as quickly Since I have a pump that runs tirelessly, there must be a natural spring under my house. It happens so often during bad storms that the float switch is left up for hours, and the pump continuously runs. Since my sump system is heavily used, you can imagine how much I rely on it. There are no words to express how much I would recommend this!.
This is a good thing all the time, right? If your pump fails, are you going to be notified of it? Despite its quiet operation, this valve is very effective. Neither upstairs nor downstairs can we hear it. There's a sound coming from downstairs that comes from the pump. There was a thunk that we could hear anywhere in the house when the old one broke. In addition to being like a heartbeat, it could also wake you up in the middle of the The water pump on ours has a backup, but I am still fitting our outflow pipe with a vibration sensor that feeds our Samsung Smart Things network with run information that can be viewed on our smartphones. There is also an alarm wired to the "lip" of the sump lid, but it will only go off if we have very little time to respond.
There was a green Zoeller check valve attached to it. There were many thoughts going through my mind. In this old house, I blamed the loud CLUNK after every cycle on the old pipes and vent stack, since I had no prior experience with this type of installation. As I went about looking for a solution, I came across a cheap check valve that I suspect could be to blame. My old valve and rubber couplers went right in the space of this new one. It was a very direct fit. Though I had prepared myself not to be impressed, this was far from the case. It only slush out a slight amount of water. I am very satisfied with this product. I'm going to buy a couple of extras so I can replace this one easily later down the road. It will only take a few minutes to replace them in the future since they are glue fittings.
It did a good job eliminating any noise and vibration when it failed, but it absorbed the water hammer and did a good job absorbing the water hammer when it failed. My water hammering was extremely loud and obnoxious until I bought this product. I tried several things before purchasing it because I couldn't figure out what was causing it. Before I knew the previous unit had failed, I wasn't aware it had Nevertheless, I decided to take a look at this and try it out. This was an easy project to install, but I strongly recommend using a ratcheted The one I had was fortunately good. Zoeller is extremely easy to install because of its clever design, along with that it is very easy to install. It is a great relief to be rid of the pain, as the saying goes. The relief value is very good and the quietness is very good. This is a highly recommended product.
I replaced another "clank free" check valve with it and I like the simplicity and effectiveness. The flapper is actually working as you can see. You need only to have a minimal level of ability to work with pvc pipe for this job to be performed. Get in touch with a plumber if you're scared. It is so quiet I cannot even hear it when it is close to me, since there is a tension spring inside. I will keep an eye on it and make sure I have a backup for it so I can replace it if and when necessary. My only concern is how long it will take for the hard water to destroy the spring internally.
