This motor is compatible with the SM550 Universal Range Hood Vent Bathroom Fan Model 120 volts, 60 Hz, 50 CFM, Its power is 29A and it rotates at 3000 rpm. The bathroom vent fan motor and blower wheel need to be replaced in Nutone Broan 65100

I would like to reverse the direction of rotation. ?

The reverse direction of the fan does not need to be applied. You can turn the blades either way and they will function well. It is impossible for the air to reverse direction through the vent.

The noise level is high

The unit is very noisy compared to the original fan, so I ended up removing it, cleaning and oiling the original motor, and reinstalling it until I found something better. Additionally, the number of studs was a bit different, so the mounting bracket holes had to be enlarged to accommodate it.

" Factree" is almost a direct match. It was made to work by a guy. There is a 1/4" length difference between the shaft and the bearing. In order to allow free spin and lower the housing somewhere between a scooch and a scoach, I drilled a 5/16" hole where the mounting stud holes were located on the mounting bracket. My dipped will arrive soon! Unlike the gov on Epstein, the system runs quite quietly. Wobble pops were the perfect way to make me feel like I had accomplished what I didn't want to do.

The mounting shafts on this fan are larger than the originals, and no mounting nuts are The Ace store did not have metal nuts that small, so I had to go up to the Ace store to get them

The nylon nuts they had were too small, and so I had to settle for something else. The nylon nuts come with lock washers that are made of steel In no way.

The motor assembly I attached to my original 5 inch fan blade was reused, the new 6 inch blade I ditched. The device works great, is quiet, and very well built.
