diameter of 5/8" Thank you very much.
From my vfd to the motor, it's about 36 inches. ground wires must be separated
Baldor appears to be the only motor manufacturer left in the United States.
It's possible that the size won't fit through the saw.

based on the intended use Even though the technical specifications were the same as my original motor, the physical size of this one is larger, which caused some issues. It also cuts in and out under load, indicating that it isn't as well built as my original. I knew there would be issues because of the price, and I used it on a cargo lift, so the cutting out under load was a problem. Bench tools, such as a scroll saw or something similar, would probably be the best fit.
On a small Clausing 8520 milling machine with a Fuji VFD, it's working perfectly for me. My connection box on the side does not appear to be the same as the one in the photo. It's square with a flat cover, but it can be unscrewed and repositioned, which in my case meant rotating it 90 degrees so that the cord emerges from the bottom and the motor shaft is vertical, which was ideal for my application. Oh, and the one I received isn't even bright blue. br>br>From 900 to 2700 rpm, the motor runs smoothly and coolly, with plenty of torque. br>br>I would purchase another.
It's fine; the 3/4hp rating is untrue; it's not even close to the power of the 3/4hp motor it replaced. I intended to go up to 1 horsepower, and I probably should have, but it will suffice for the time being. It has a 10" lathe attached to it. It works fine in both forward and reverse, but it lacks power. It's more likely to be 1/2hp than 3/4hp, in my opinion.
The first was number one. 5 hp; 0 came in second. 75 hp. Although they are not on the same level as a Baldor or other more expensive makes, I am not using them in critical applications, so I do not expect them to perform as well. They outperform my expectations. br> There were no problems with the quality of the product. The terminal box is large enough to easily reconfigure the wiring according to the diagrams on the labels, and the dimensions and ratings are as stated. I'll undoubtedly purchase more for the machines I rebuild and repair as needed.
I use a belt grinder and have a reliable motor. When combined with a vfd, you can get a nice range of speeds. The wiring on this bad boy was interesting, as it was just a bundle of loose wires tied in a loose knot under the cover, but each was labeled with a number, and the faceplate worked well the first time; a bus bar would have been more convenient, but there were no issues with how it ran.
Reverse switch and remote start button have been added, and everything is working perfectly. I also bought a mill with a max spindle speed of 1800rpm and a 3/4hp (3600rpm) motor. Both work well with some inventive thinking and pulley arrangements.
I recently acquired a 1989 Buffalo 14" bandsaw. This 1hp took the place of 3/4 hp. CCW rotation was achieved by swapping wires. Bob is your uncle, and he installed a new flex belt. br>br>Now this is a tool that can be used. Even handles resaw oak up to 4 inches without breaking a sweat. br>br>I would buy another without hesitation. In less than a week, your order will be delivered. Nice packaging, with a clam shell made of styrofoam that fits perfectly.
My old Jett (25 years) liquid-cooled band saw's electric motor died, and I used it to cut a lot of steel. I did some research and discovered a motor that was 120 volts, 1725 RPM, 5/8" shaft, and didn't require any major "mounting changes. " The replacement Jett motor cost well over $600. It was two months away, and the number was 00. I ordered a replacement motor from Amazon for under $200 and received it in a matter of days. Thanks to Amazon, I was quickly back to cutting steel. Well done.
