This is an easy to install software. When I moved into my new house I purchased a transformer and chime all in one unit, but this did not support my A double gang box was installed above the door to house it. In the double gang box, this was the only power transformer I could find. Then I had to install a new AC doorbell to cover the wires on the wall, but it is very straightforward. Just be sure to shut off the power to your doorbell at first, and make sure the colored wires match. Follow the directions that come.

The transformer was purchased to work with a Ring Doorbell, as the existing chime did not provide the power for the Ring device. We replaced the existing chime with this one so that we could power the Ring device with existing wiring to the exterior of the house. Installed a Ring chime via WiFi to pair with the Ring doorbell.
