It looks burnt out of the box, and there is a deep gouge in the plastic shielding all the way down to the copper! It cannot even be used! In my attempt to return the product, I got informed that it would not be eligible for return.

Before I got it, I was so dark and without electricity. No longer do I have to stumble around in the dark in my bedroom with a dead battery and an unlit room. As a result, I can now charge my cell phone at night and use my lamp during the day. It makes me feel so much safer knowing I won't stub my toe in the dark, requiring me to race to Urgent Care since my phone battery was dead and I couldn't call for an ambulance. Getting my order delivered so quickly turned on the lights in my life and gave me the energy I needed to get through the night. Thank you Amazon! What we described is exactly what we did. My old two prong outlet had to change and I had to use one of these cords to stretch a little longer than my lamp cord could reach. It's the thin kind of cord, not like an outdoor extension cord but like the type you use inside for lamps, TV sets, etc. As far as both are concerned, this was the perfect solution. The plug-ins included in the package are One side has two while the other side has one. The only annoyance I have with this device is that it has to be twisted to connect. This must be done as a safety precaution You'll be glad to hear this if you have young Although it's not a huge problem for me, you do need to plug it in for a few seconds.

Although the electrical wiring has been updated, the location and number of outlets are the same as they were 100 years ago. It means the nearest outlet is almost always located in an inconvenient location for electrical usage in the modern world. For one troublesome area at least, this cord may solve the problem. Despite the multiple length choices, ordering just what you need was easy because the tamper shields work as intended, the cord and plug are well made, and the options for the length made ordering easy. Easy as pie.

In my entire bedroom, I only have one plug that runs off of the wall switch, so I had to use an extension cord to allow all 3 of my nightstand lamps and floor lamp to turn on when the switch is flipped. I needed this exactly for what I needed it for. I like the brown ones better, they're safe and they look nicer than the brown ones I had before.
