As our house was built in 1962, the outlet for the dryer was basically on the ground. Due to the taller stack, the standard cord was not long enough to reach our new washer and dryer. My expense and time would have been much higher if I had to move the outlet and rewire it, which would have cost me more than 17 dollars. So far, it is working well. I chose this because it was the only brand I knew had a good reputation, which is why I trusted the brand. Good choice it seems to be a high-quality product. Use this rather than an extension cord for safety reasons.
As of yet, there have been no incidents of electrical fires or other mishaps related to this dryer cord. It is important to keep in mind that any dryer cord over eight feet is not UL listed. It is not my habit to run my dryer when I am away.
Now that our dryer has been moved, we are able to use it in our new We found this dryer cord to work really well and it was fairly easy to hook it up. You will have to wire it on your own if you follow how it is wired however, if you do that, you should be fine.
Including strain relief brackets is helpful, but I didn't use this one. As a result, the dryer cord went from five feet to ten feet, making pulling it from the wall a simple process An affair in two steps. There is no problem connecting the plug to the standard dryer outlet, and the cord jacket is rugged as anyone could wish.
I needed to connect the dryer power cord to the outlet for our new dryer, but the cord that came with it was too short. A move of the nearest outlet would cost hundreds of dollars, we were told. We saved the money by using this 10' cord and it fits well and works as specified.
The electric was actually used to power a garage heater, so I needed a longer power cord than what would normally be used It worked good. It was long enough and flexible just the way I wanted it to be, which was really helpful.
There is too much distance between my dryer and me. The exact thing I was looking for. I found that a 3' or 6' cord was not long enough to reach my dryer since it is too far away from the electrical outlet. It is completely safe to use and will not warm up when you use it for long periods of time.
Performs the function it is intended to perform. This appears to be a good product. The length is nice, and the price is reasonable.
