A girl with no skills in mechanics or handyman can easily convert a 3 prong plug to a 4 prong plug

As a matter of fact, I don't like mechanical things I found the installation process to be fairly straightforward. In the video, the power is cut to the dryer, the wiring is removed from the old 3 prong cord, and the set is connected. I found the process to be very simple. Changing the power cord is something I have never done before, even though I have never hooked up a washer and dryer together. The power cord is thick and long as well. Neutrality is assigned to white in the middle. The black and red screws go on the outside screws and are interchangeable. There will be a screw directly attached to the dryer to ground the green in your grounding. I had a problem with my dryer.

A little rough on the molding. That's a good way to put it- As a unit. A nice stranded wire with good quality There was a $8 price difference between my big orange box and the big green Besides that, the only thing I'm not happy with is some of the molding around the plug is a little rough. With this, I was able to convert a three prong washer into a four prong washer. You do not need a new dryer. Do not think for even a moment that you should. Adding a ground connection is all that needs to be done (which should already be there, just not being part of the original three-prong Having been using my dryer for months without any issues, I am completely satisfied.

Because I do not know what the installation experience was like, I cannot provide an opinion on ease of installation. We used them with our new Maytag washer and dryer, and they worked great. The cables are a 4-prong kind- I spoke with our new property manager to make sure the right kind of cables are received. Since some of these hookups are three prongs, this will not work with all of them!.

The prong on one of the plugs had to be ground a bit to fit in the receptacle properly. (Just like with the original) However, it does the job and provides us with the length we needed. The package arrived on time and was I recommend it!.
