Your new dryer 4 prong plug adapter will connect to your old 3 prong plug wall outlet, your old dryer plug adapter will connect to your new dryer.

The dryer adapter cord is 5FT long with 3 prongs, UL/cUL listed STW 10AWG/3, supporting overload of 30 amps, 250 volts, and 7500 W.

The plug is 3-prong NEMA 10-30P 250V, 30 A, and the connection jack is 4-prong NEMA 14-30R 125V/250V 30 A.

The copper terminal of this device is electroplated to prevent surface oxidation. You can plug a ground wire into the circular ground hole of a standard 3-prong outlet to prevent surface oxidation.

Luckily, Amazon offers this adapter plug that is designed to resolve this issue and it arrived within It would have cost $700 for a complicated service call, but all we had to do was plug in the adapter cord (coupled with the appliance cord), attach the hoses, and we were all set. As a result, the cord is well worth the tens of thousands of hours and years of use it will deliver, and I cannot recommend it.

It took me about 20 minutes to install it. I tried to send a picture of the location where my washer is installed. My washer and dryer are Kenmore brand units. I was having trouble getting the picture to open. The instructions and videos on Youtube are a good resource if you're not sure. To ensure your safety, you must unplug your computer/device from the power source first. It is better to employ a professional if you do not.
