Copper is what it is. There is a 50-amp certification for it. It is impossible for me to tell if it is 99% copper. I am not sure if 95% copper would matter.
In order to plug in 14/50, you will need 8 AWG
There is no doubt that it is a valid cord and that it is the same as all the cords I have ordered in the past.
The 6 awg cable has been left

Keep an eye on yourself. There was a problem with the color code. This is what I bought for a job in an industrial setting. On three of them, the red wire was connected to the left plug blade, and on two of them the reverse was true. In this case, the red was connected to the left blade of the plug. Four of them were parallel so all the reds were connected together, all the blacks were connected together, but all the greens were connected together and all the whites were connected The only fuses that were damaged were the main fuses. The quality control department would probably have connected the same wires to the same plug blades, but two of the five plugs were reversed with black and red connected oppositely. The problem will not affect people who use the range or dryer for other purposes. I am just warning those who use these other ways.
I bought this so I could make a generator pigtail to connect my 10kw generator to a welding outlet in my garage (don't try this at home if you don't know what you're doing! Please note
As it turned out, this cable was just right for me, even though it was not too large for the L14-type connector To fit the other "loose" end of the cable, I used 30P twist-lock cable. Please note
The 240vac hot wires have (2) 6AWG wires and (2) 8AWG wires for the Please note
The fact that it does not have any UL listings doesn't matter to me, but it seems well made. I can feel both the insulation and jacketing. Please note
Unlike other cables or pigtails that come with a Nema 14-pin connector, this cable/pigtail is 10 feet long A $150 check.
The house I live in. According to the description, this is what it is. The dryer in my house was once a duplex, and due to some slightly twisted wiring we have to use a range cord to connect it to the electric outlet. As a result, the four wires were so long that it was impossible to remove the back cover without removing them. The text would have been perfect if it had been just a few points shorter. The jerry rigging worked to get it to work, but we couldn't get it to length, so we gave it four stars. I doubt it would be perfect for a range as intended, but for what I needed it for, it was perfect.
I replaced the 50 amp power supply with a 30 amp one and returned the 50 amp. A stove is what this is for. You'll need a dryer with a 30!.
The cable I used for my project was just right for my generator project. The wire and cable should be of good quality.
In the refrigerator. The installation is simple and hassle-free It is reasonable in.
A fifty amp generator would be perfect for this location.
