You must use the same amount of power as the one you're replacing. It may last for a long time at 32 volts DC, but it is not a 48 volt system; it is designed for a specific voltage range. I would not use a breaker with a lower voltage.

In the end, I didn't use it. It was supposed to be used on a project build, but it was never used. Nonetheless, it appears to be a good product/break. I'll save it for another project in the future.
