The Emerson website states that the G4 257 begins at 257 degrees Celsius. Over half of that is what this fuse opens at, so it cannot be used. Sorry for the inconvenience. When I searched on Amazon for "257 C thermal fuse", there were two results. I think one of them maybe the one you're looking for. What you need to know is these two things. Observations 1. Fuse should have the same amperage rating as the circuit breaker. 1.. 2. The heatsink is a must if you are going to solder this or the soldering process will kill it. Instead of crimping mine in, I crimped it.
The fuses in this machine are not blown if it has power.

The replacement parts for this unit are exclusive to Lowe's so we went to an electrical supply store to see if we could get the ones we need. Our only option was to buy this or get an expensive heater vent for over $250, because this was the only thing we found on the internet that matched the thermal fuse that blew. Therefore, we tested it and followed the instructions to install it. It took a matter of minutes to install.
I had accidentally gotten a pinto bean between the stainless steel pot and the heating element of our Instant Pot, and that caused the thermal fuse to blow. This fix worked like a charm. A YouTube search for "instant pot won't heat" brought up a video that mentioned this part and I was able to fix it in no time. Here are a few caveats A THERMAL fuse is required. Thus, I wouldn't advise you to try to solder it in unless you're very careful in doing so. As a matter of fact, the fuse was originally connected to the wiring by a rigid tube. In the end, I was able to attach it back in this way.
I'd like to discuss it with everyone. I was able to fix my Instant Pot with this method. Having a few spares on hand when a thermal fuse blows is a great idea.
I am so happy with my oyster toaster oven after it was fixed. Thank you! I wasn't able to find the exact replacement for the previous one, which was rated at 122°c. It had the same amperage/voltage rating as the previous one. I was very pleased with the results. The harness was replaced with some non-insulated butt connectors and the heat sleeve was used to cover the connection back up like it had been. I fixed the 100$ kitchen appliance for just 4 dollars and it is working great once again now.
I was surprised to receive the Thermal Fuse earlier than I anticipated! As soon as I replaced the old fuse with the new one, the garment steamer ran like new! This is a product I will buy.
I think it did its job well. There is one more I need.
There was nothing wrong with my Secura 6 in 1 pressure cooker, but it was acting like it had blown a That I would be able to fix it by replacing the fuse was not in my expectations. It was cheap and easy to substitute the stock fuse with this one, so I thought what the hell, I'll give it a try. After a few days of inactivity, I have a working pressure cooker again.
Here is what it looks like.
