There is plenty of room for wires up to 1 gauge with this
An ANL of the standard kind, not the mini kind
You can't depend on the size of the fuse to determine how much power you have. The ampacity of the wire should be determined by the gauge and quality of the wire. What gauge and quality These are the key things you need to know in order to answer the Copper wire with the same gauge will carry a higher current than copper wire of the same gauge constructed from CCA
Divide your voltage by the number of watts to find out how much amperage you need. *500 or 13*500. This equals 36. The current being administered is two Fire protection can be secured by mounting the 150 under the hood close to the battery. Adding another 35 or 40 inline near the amplifier will make it louder.

There are a few things that could be improved. It is very convenient that there are integrated wire clamps, and you do not need to crimp terminals onto the wire end. - Some people have trouble snapping into place the top cover completely, especially if a wire is not going straight through the fuse holder, if not straight through, and touches the cover, or if there is tension or twist on the base of the holder due to an Currently, the cover is held in place by very small tabs and could be made more secure if it were made out of a stronger material. * * - In order to secure it in place with a self-tapping screw, I drilled a hole through the center of the base under the fuse. To mount the wire, a terminal block must be opened on both sides of the wire to allow access to the wire for removal or installation. * * - It would be good if there were more options for ordering fuses. Currently, this is being used with 4ga wire, but I'd like to run a smaller fuse than 150A for this.
This shouldn't be a big deal, but, I decided to order the smaller rated fuse since it will require less power to blow, so I selected it. In the case of a short, the 250 amps of electricity that was sent to me will allow much greater current flow through the circuit before the fuse breaks. It would have been too late by then to salvage my audio equipment. The complicated process of having to send back a small part was too much hassle, but worse, I had to pay for shipping. There is almost as much that I have to pay for just a single 150 amp fuse locally as I did for the entire combination block/fuse. I guess it was a waste of time. The fuse mix is the only exception As you can see, a good product. This is why it has a 5 star rating.
The ANL 300 amp fuse had been replaced after I replaced the 300 amp breaker switch. Even after drawing more than 200 amps at full load just by trying to start up an old washing machine, it was still up and running without a problem. The wires were connected to my 200Ah battery. A LiFePO4 battery with two cells. Power inverter Aims 2000 watts was maxed out and the cables were plugged into it. As an aside, my red cable did not even get hot during the whole process.
A beast of a fuse block, I'm using it to power my one-ohm system on four gauges. Since I literally melted the Boss fuse holder that came with the wiring kit, I knew I needed something that was I'm really happy with how this thing works so far, and it was a real breeze to swap!.
There is no doubt that the item is of high quality. It is only the placement of the holes for mounting that I find problematic. The screws must first be installed before the wire looks good. I was unable to do that at the location where I needed to install the wire. It would be more ideal if there had been a pair of screw holes in the center, under the fuse spot.
I use it in my engine bay and it works great. It looks and works like new.
So, I installed another amp, but it dumped a bunch of debris, which caused it to fail shortly after delivery. A quick replacement was made by Amazon, none of which were a big deal. Since I installed it, it has worked fine.
This is not a bad score. My needs seem to be met and the product seems well-made. It would be better if the cover were more attractive. The connection appears not to hold under heavy vibration, but will have to be seen when the component is put through its paces. Before I secured the base in place, I cinched the cover tightly with a couple of pieces of electrical tape.
