My ballast is a vec54120mr-model espen. Is this going to be able to take the place of that model?

Your ballast is designed to work with tubes rated at 22 and 32 watts. This one is for a 32 watt and a 40 watt power supply. You won't have any problems if you can adjust your tubes to match these wattages. If you can't, you'll probably be fine, but the 22watt will probably be burned out prematurely. It's best if the wattage outputs are matched to the tube specifications.

Will this ballast be able to take the place of a ve432120mip?

Although I am not an expert, I would use the same model of ballast to replace yours. Is available for purchase through Amazon.

Can two fc12t9 led bulbs be used with the ballast?

Not sure. The old-fashioned bulbs were used.

Have a r- 2s40- 2 f- tp tp tp tp tp tp 40 watt bulbs in a 48" fixture. Is this a suitable substitute?

Because of the plug type, I don't believe so.

The lights are turned on

Both bulbs in the lighting fixture went out at the same time, which could have been a coincidence or indicate that both bulbs needed to be replaced. Despite replacing both bulbs with new ones, the lights did not turn on. BINGO, the lights came back on after the ballast was replaced and the old bulbs were reinstalled. The problem was resolved with the installation of the new ballast.

This is the same ballast that comes with my fluorescent ceiling light

The light is now working again after I replaced it. Fluorescent lights appear to be on their way out, with LEDs taking their place. Because I have spare bulbs for this light, it would be a complete waste if I couldn't replace the ballast.

Replacement of the ballast

Because my lamp was of higher quality than the new one I could buy, I decided to keep it. The ballast was replaced, and it now works perfectly. I'll save about $150 on a new lamp as a result of this. As a backup, I bought another ballast. It was simple to swap out.

Simply turn off the power, unscrew the light bulbs, disconnect the wiring, and reinstall. It's very simple.
