I have paired this with my Hubitat hub with no problem. It is RGBgenie that created a custom device driver that gives Hubitat great control over color tuning. My church has been using this to drive backlights on a cross, and it hasn't failed since we installed it a few weeks ago.
It is the best Zwave controller you can buy for the money and as an added bonus, it comes with a built-in power source. In my case, it is used to power lights around a bar seating area. Hubit did not connect with any other brand, so it had to be reset. In the two months since installing it, I haven't touched it a single time.
I recognized it right away by my openhab HAS. I am pleased with how well it has worked My previous Fibraro had a separate power supply, so this is a huge improvement. It is bulkier than Fibraro due to the power supply, but this was expected. There are only a few inputs for auxiliary control available here. The future will hold several more projects (undercabinet lighting, bed set for a customer, etc) that will more than likely take the place of the previous project.
I'm very pleased with its performance. Powered by its own power supply, this controller operates independently of the PC.
Two stars because I'd ordered the RGBgenie ZV-VM instead There has been some controversy over the Apple 1008 and I had no idea it was missing a power cable, so what is the use of having a power supply built in without a way to power it? As far as I can tell, there's nothing in the description that says one isn't included.
