I like this product because it's a great solution for our RV. We have pets that we leave inside for short periods of time, so MarCELL allows us to relax without worrying about power outages or indoor temperatures. It has been tested over and over again and it is flawless. Thank you for your support,.
It might freeze up inside my home if my furnace shuts down, so it is a major worry for me. in the Navy and go away for months at a time, so although I have the house checked weekly, when something goes wrong it happens fast. I went online to check my email (from the middle of the Pacific Ocean) and came across temperatures that were low My oil company also let me know that they had gone over and replaced the clogged nozzle in my boiler and re-set it. Lastly, my mother sent me an email to let me know she went over to check on the house and found that it was back to 60F like I had set it a month ago before leaving for work (I had my MarCELL set for 55F for phone notifications and calls). Updates occur on the website only every 8 hours (3 times daily), however, in the event of an alarm, the website can be updated immediately. Furthermore, I purchased the additional one-time updates, as I wanted to monitor it closely when it began to climb again. This was a purely commercial plan for $8 updates (basically At a rate of 25 per message, AT&T will update you 8 times The company charges me to update my subscription outside of it). In addition to the SPucks, I tested them before leaving, and they immediately updated the website with the locations of water found and issued alerts. However, one of my units didn't register, and I received an email from the company half an hour later letting me know that everything had been handled. As a person on the other side of the world, I can say that this system gives me peace of mind and I Having to deal with my insurance company over water damage for $300 for my MarCELL and SPucks plus $150 for a weekend furnace service call is a lot less hassle and cost than purchasing the components myself. This has already paid for itself, and it will give me peace of mind knowing my home is monitored while I am away from my home for the weekend or when I am taking a trip. This is a great product, I highly recommend it! I did write this review on the ship as well, I greet you from all of us in.
There was a mess created a few weeks ago when the heater broke and the lines froze. We purchased and installed this MarCell Pro after our heater was repaired. It gives you a nice feeling of security, knowing that your alert will go off at a preset threshold. I rate it four instead of five stars due to the following reasons The price for using three to five devices per year is $179, but no discounts are offered if using multiple devices. Although you will receive an alert as soon as an alarm is set off, the device only sends data to the web server every 6 to 12 hours. If you're paranoid like me, it would be better to upload information more frequently. Granted, there is a button to retrieve current conditions, but there is a limit of 40 manual retrievals per month, and another 20 are added every.
The device works so well that I have it installed in my travel trailer so I can find out if the A/C goes out. I love it.
Then when the internet goes down, we have no idea if the power is out or if the internet is down, so we should worry about the heat not working and potential damage to the pipes. It uses a cellular network and a battery backup, and will alert you in case of a power outage or if the temperature is above or below the limits you select. We were worried about it because our area does not get that good of a signal. We don't hear any voice calls The device only works for texting, but it worked right away. The work was done Normally, you would pay $99 per year, but you can pay monthly (a slight increase). Every 8 hours, it only records the temperatures and relative humidity, but it will notify you immediately if either of these are out of the normal range. Our need for it has not arisen. This device is awesome. (We also purchased the version with the SPuck that will alert us to when there is water in our basement, so we placed that nearby the sump pump. ).
It works well and does not have any problems with the I am completely satisfied with the unit. It does what it claims to do. It works well in my motor home for monitoring conditions when I leave for a short time with dogs inside. It is also useful to have at home when I am.
The temperature readings have been accurate the alerts that are sent when the readings are out of range for temperature have been timely. This device operated successfully for more than 24 hours on a single battery charge. There are also two cons 1) it must be plugged into electricity to function initially, even when the battery is fully charged. It is inconvenient when the temperature gauge is off and you need to supervise the temperature of the car. In cases where the temperature is out of range, you do not receive a text indicating that it has returned to normal. The status update to check the status should not take up an instant update. No, I do not feel completely satisfied nor am I dissatisfied enough to return it, but I had other expectations. There is a lack of technology in this area in today's world.
There seems to be a discrepancy in the temperature readings (though at least they are inconsistent). Two separate units reading 10° more or less than one another, nor do they reflect the temperature readings or settings on the building thermostat. The monitoring prices are higher than I would pay, but the client is fine with the price. Monitoring is a per-unit charge, not per-account charge. This is just for your information. Apart from this, they do exactly what they claim to do. Using the notification options was simple and straightforward. Overall, the process was straightforward and easy.
