These shutters are easy to install and are made of PVC. This company made the mistake of sending the wrong size, but will not do anything to repair it. Delivery was scheduled for a few weeks, but they arrived in a few days. This is a very impressive set. Upon receiving the shutters from you, I was delighted by the color matching my other shutters. I am installing them on my garage windows. In addition to installation being easy, we had no problems! In order to push through the shutter locks, I cleaned out the previous drill holes and then used a rubber mallet. If you drill the hole too shallow, the locks won't go through completely.

I was very happy when these came a week early so that we could install them before the winter set in. If you are installing on vinyl, just forgo the shutter spikes and use the metal screws instead, you'll save a lot of time and hassle. It is a lot easier to use the screws this time instead of the spikes we used before. The classic blue color suits our taste very well and we are as well pleased with it. As I look closely, the blue undertone is on the warmer side with a hint of green. To serve as a reference, I am attaching photos. I am pleased with this purchase as a whole. In terms of how they will wear over time, I can't speak for now, but for now they look good.
