It is not a good idea to use vinyl shutters for functional purposes. The backside of the dish is hollow they are usually used as decorations.

In order to fit my 63" x 12" shutter, I chose. In fact, the door was 63 1/2 inches tall, as opposed to the measurements stated on the box. As the shutters go into an indentation in the stone, it would not work for my house. There's absolutely no way this was my fault that the shutter was half an inch too big. Nevertheless, I still had to pay a 20% restocking fee to this company. That is unimaginable! The only way I could give zero stars here would be to do so. In the absence of a refund for the remainder of my money, I will not be ordering again. I do not bear any responsibility for their actions.
If you do not know what color to get, you can try a color sample set (miniature) before you buy. They are shaped like the shutters so you can literally stand in front of the house and look at it.
This is a pair we purchased that we installed on our recently vinyl-sided house. We went with Wedgewood Blued shutters for our siding which look very nice, but you will be frustrated with the bottom and top sides of the shutters. I mounted one upside down because I was unaware of this. Yes, of course! However, I would like to point out that despite having purchased a LOT of injection molded plastic during my career, these shutters are really expensive compared to the cost to manufacture.
There is no problem with shutters, but there is a problem with restocking fees. The shutters I ordered were the wrong style. It was cost prohibitive to return the first set due to hefty restocking fees. Reordered correct louvered shutters, but found they didn't suit our needs. I would like sellers to state upfront what these fees are.
I ordered shutters for the front of my house on June 30. My shutters for the main front window were defective and when I got them installed and opened the last box. They were great. A new set of shutters apart from the faded older Thankfully, I received the replacements today (7/22) and they are more damaged than the first set I sent back! Could you tell me how long it will take to receive my replacements this time around? How about the condition of the building? The replacement of my shutters will likely have taken me a month if all goes well. My house looks great thanks to the effort I put into keeping it clean, but now I am ashamed to pull into my driveway. I thank the clowns for their generosity.
It was a mistake to install them since they did not look good at all after we pulled them out of the box. There was a poor quality in the product.
The purchase is for a property on the market. Color is true to vinyl, thick and thick. Visible plastic screws are included with this item. The hidden brackets, however, had to be purchased individually from another vendor. A close look at the shutters suggests that they are cheap, however, from a distance, they appear.
This is an excellent shutter solution for an affordable price. I absolutely love the way my home looks now. The hardware included in the package allows for easy installation on bricks. I had to buy more screws at a nearby Lowe's Home Improvement store because one box didn't contain enough screws.
