To accommodate the frame, an 11" x 11" cutout is required.

If facing a door that opens to the right, the hinges are on the right.

The thickness of the frame is 7/8 inch.

Not included are hinges; 1/2" Offset Hinges are recommended.

What kind of hinges do I need?

You'll need to know how far the louver door's off set distance is for the model you're buying. I believe there are two sizes available, if memory serves me correctly. You'll be able to buy the right size off set hinges with this information. In my case, I purchased Sea Dog-made stainless steel off-set hinges. In my recent boat renovation project, I installed at least a dozen of the louver doors, which are fantastic and well-made. For the price, they're a steal, and I hope this information is useful. Neil

Is there a measurement-based installation diagram?

No, there isn't a measurement-based installation diagram. I'd measure my door for you, but it's in a location that's several miles away from where I am now. The non-profit sector is becoming increasingly narrow. The front of the door has a louvered portion that is approximately 2. The non-stretchy non-stretchy non-stretchy non-stre I believe the louvered portion was approximately 4" wide; I hope this information is useful.

I'm not planning on using the frame, so what is the actual edge-to-edge size of the louvered door?

To be clear, the door recess on my nominal 15"x 15" overall door and frame is 12 1/4" square. The frame's recess is 14" x 14," which was ideal for my project.

What exactly do you mean by a cutout size of 11 x 11?

Make an 11"H x 11"w cutout in the surface you're installing it on to properly install this door.

It was the perfect size to cover an open space in a wall, and it came with a cheap handle that I upgraded to a nicer one, which looks fantastic.

These doors were installed by us, but they appear to have been there for a long time. Routing was required for the recommended hardware, but our Dremel came in handy.

I used this for an upfit on my SeaRay 40 foot Sport Cruiser, I took out an old ice maker and built shelves, and this beautiful door serves as the front, it fits perfectly in my application and looks fantastic, and for the price, it's an outstanding deal, happy happy! Chris.
