Does it matter if the shutters are solid or if the window is visible ?

There are louvers on these shutters that are open so that you can see through them.

Two hinges can be installed and put together. What do I need to do? Do the outside walls and roof have solid wood ?

There is nothing more to them than Solid wood is not available. Given the fact that the two are so similar, it may be possible to put them together, as long as you keep in mind that there are few or no wooden parts, but not for sure.

Are these closet doors with exterior shutter hinges suitable for use as closet doors?

I don't think so. They're too fragile. This is a relatively thin plastic piece. However, they can also be used as shutters.

It appears the 14 is the same size as the 12. Is there a shutter for a 5 x 60?

A curtain with 14 feet wide would measure 14 feet long. The standard size is 5" x 60", but we allow for +/- 1.5" Neither the width nor the height differ by more than 1/2".

The plastic shutters I have in my house are great. Included in the price is hardware. This is an easy to install product. Here's a suggestion The best way to support the frame is to use wooden molding behind the plastic. Here, the two windows are seen side by side to protect one from too much sunlight. have been designed to complement the home's architecture. By absorbing light, they filter it out. This shade does not add any solidity, but it does add shade protection. We want to protect privacy, while at the same time letting in filtered light. It only took me a few minutes to trim the bottom. It was straight forward to customize. I finished the new edge with ultra fine sand paper. I found it easy to adjust the size from the bottom, and they still look nice. I showed them to my neighbor and he liked them. Apparently the shutters have gaps between them which I was not aware of. The shutters should maintain their integrity and hopefully insects like wasps and hornets won't build nests inside. The only complaint I have with these shutters is that they cannot be painted (as stated on the Although the shutters on my front door are already black, I plan on painting the shutters all green next year when I repaint it.

The product was so easy to paint and hang that even a child could do it

a quality spray paint and was able to do it in no time. I really notice a difference in my house when they are here. The food they ate was lightweight, but due to the house's foundation, I've seen no problems with the recent storms.

It is a good value, but there is some plastic in it These are a great value, but they're kind of plasticky *br>*br>I wouldn't hesitate to use them for my whole house, but expect them to last for a shorter period of time
