Product Description

The 3 inch all-around heavy duty weather protection grille is made of cast aluminum so it can fit within metal duct openings of 3 inches, is particularly strong, and will not rust. It has a grey lacquered surface. Flat construction is evident in the construction of the grille.

Rainwater is not allowed to enter the outer grille because it has a fixed lamella. As insect protection, the fly screen features holes with a size of 2x2 mm.

A nozzle can be inserted in the ducting to be used. The vent can be mounted by screwing or nailing the grill into place. Use the holes pre-punched between the lamellae for this purpose. This (see picture) is an optically pleasing change, as the nails or screws are not visible after the installation.

This filter can withstand wind speeds up to 70 mph and can either be used outside or inside, for walls or ceilings. Perfect for garages, sheds, offices, bathrooms, RVs or campers, or anywhere else where air needs to flow.

As far as the current state of shipping during COVID is concerned, the shipment arrived in a reasonable amount of time It is the case of 19 in this This wall covering was purchased to cover a 6" hole in the wall for the exhaust tube of an air conditioner. doesn't have a problem handling heat, and a good flow of air is guaranteed. It is tight enough to keep out mosquitoes and small insects, but that mesh is not tightly woven.

Bugs do not get in with this solid vent! The vent is lightweight, does not corrode (as far as I have witnessed) and provides adequate venting when used in an As part of my RV battery box build, I used two of these vents that I secured with 6/32 screws and nuts

In addition to my 3-way vent, I will use two more inside cabins This is an inverter enclosure for a KW. The ventilation system, particularly during the fall and winter, keeps out bugs that might want to build a home inside your enclosure.

The quality of the material is excellent

It is well made and has a nice screen to keep insects out. My soffit is white so I painted it with spray paint to match. Furthermore, I drilled holes for white screws that will hold the board to the soffit. In addition, I would like to see the rim where the vent hose is going to be attached be about 1/4" taller to allow for better locking down of the aluminum vent hose as I used a hose clamp, which takes some maneuvering to get into the hole without.

The quality of this product is excellent. The image on the ad depicts it as being too small for flexible duct, but it is actually a good size for it. Neither the backing plate nor the hinges are included.

Everyone should have access to a vent

Taking it to the next level

This is a heavy-duty project. There were two of them in my order. A display on one of them was just a sixteenth of an inch from the edge, covering an inch-long Quality control only had a small problem, but it was not a major problem. There was no problem with the hole after a bit of caulk was applied. As far as the second one, it was fine. I would buy it again since the vent is built extremely well.

This appears to be a good step. I love it it fits The delivery was timely. I thought it looked like a ceramic material (it feels like it would be). Because I just installed it, I am unable to comment on durability, but it seems like it will be OK. To vent my furnace room to the outdoors, I placed the tube on it.
