Does the mounting block have the option of being painted?

It is comparable to vinyl as far as paintability is concerned. I wouldn't say it's really doable, but sure it is possible if primed and ready Ensure that it is properly prepared There is no intention of painting it

This block can be attached to a TV mount, right?

If the TV is large enough, I might do it, but I wouldn't. If the mount bolts were to be secured in the wall studs, the wall studs would still need to be drilled.

What I guess you want to do is fill the area between the back side of the mounting block and the wall with 1x material to make it structural?

That is what I did with mine. I believe there were 1 cavities. The thickness of the sheets is 375". My planing had been down to that thickness, so every board was up to that thickness, then I put the siding block over the top to have support. I was mounting a meter box on my wall, and I wanted it to be strong. As a result, I felt the help was needed.

This is mounted over the siding or does it have to be installed before the siding is installed?

There is a tuck behind it in the siding. In theory, it would be easier if it were installed before siding, but I cut out the siding necessary as if it were down, put the nails in, pulled the siding away a bit and then tucked it behind itself.

A vinyl siding design that is not suitable for vinyl

For siding to fit in around the perimeter, there is too much space. Siding j channels leave very little space around the perimeter. Is it because the dimensions of the j channel do not match?.

It is not a good idea to It does not offer free returns, and shipping back costs more than the item itself

In addition, the item is very flimsy and will not hold up over time. Save your money, and don't buy.

The width and width of this siding is not suited to your standard 1/2" LAP siding. There is enough room to stack two 1/2" sheets of siding one on top of the other!.

The meter mount is of great quality, it is made of a thick material, and it is just the right size for mounting the meter. It looks really neat and clean on the outside of the house when vinyl siding is installed.
