Forney 49662 Rod, 1/4" x 20 x 3', Silver

This rod is exactly what it says it is, and it arrived in perfect condition. It is neither better nor worse than you might expect, and it accomplishes the task at hand. It's a threaded rod with dimensions listed in the product description. There were no manufacturing flaws that I discovered. It appears to be well made, but the quality is comparable to other similar products I've purchased in the past from hardware stores or other commercial establishments. You will be disappointed if you purchase this rod if you require a larger or smaller diameter rod. You can buy this rod and cut it down if you require a shorter rod. This isn't a rod made of brass, platinum, or gold. It isn't made of aluminum or carbon fiber in any way. If you use the right size nut, you can thread a nut onto it. I would recommend this threaded rod if you're looking for a threaded rod. However, if a non-alcoholic beverage is required, I'd go with something else instead of a threaded rod. It came in a huge box, which was amusing. I can't help but wonder how they made any money with the box's price and prime delivery, especially since the rod was only three dollars. It's fine, though. I hope you found this information to be beneficial.

It had to be straight because it was going to be used as a spinner. They are, however, bowed, as evidenced by the photos. It would be too expensive and inconvenient to send them back. I guess I'll just have to eat the cost; I'm sure they were in this condition when they were sent; the box was undamaged.
