This item has already been returned, but it appears to have been polished. It wasn't as gleaming as chrome, but it did have a sheen.

I snatched a corner of the bundle and ordered just one piece, which was exactly what I deserved. I would not have gotten only the corner of the bundle if I had ordered multiple pieces. I understand that the piece I received was only one corner of a larger bundle, and it's difficult to say, but I believe it was a larger bundle. My robot, I'm hoping that by purchasing two, I'll get at least one that isn't just the corner of the bundle, because I'd like to be able to use it the same way I've used aluminum 1/16 inch wall tubing in the past, which is to cut it into slices thinner than 1/16 inch.
It's a three-foot-long square tube that measures 3/4-inch by 3/4-inch by 3/4-inch. I received exactly what was described in the advertisement. It was precisely what I required for the task at hand. I'm sure I could've found something closer to home. But a quick search on Amazon turned up the book. It was a little more expensive than expected, but the goal was to complete the project.
