We have a quarter-acre and a half of land to ourselves. When we bought the land, it was in rough shape, and it has taken a lot of effort to develop it. These little beauties are great for gardening and securing barriers because they are so versatile. You name it, and it's there. When I'm working, I try to keep a couple in my pockets. After the first season, they begin to rust, but they hold on.
Every year, I use these to build trellis-style support for my tomatoes in my garden. It's simple to twist these with the included tool. These are also used by my husband to keep the snow off our fence. All of your uses should be able to hold up. Will return from time to time They can also be used.
I used wire loop ties to secure 250 feet of snow slat fencing, and they made the job go much more quickly and easily. The ties were a perfect fit for the pull wire twister I bought. It was well worth the money, and it is ready to use whenever a project requires "tying" together.
It worked perfectly! They were used to secure the GOAT FENCE to two 12'x4' farm gates with 2" diameter tubes. Each gate had a total of 100 ties. I used to use 16 ga. wire in the past. I had to trim and bend the twisted ends so they didn't get snagged, and it took an eternity. The job took less than an hour this time, and there was no trimming involved. Just be careful not to overtighten the knot. After a few twists, you'll be able to tell when to stop. I've got another six gates to do.
I used the wire loops to hang up 350 feet of caddle fencing. It really works. But I'd go ahead and double them. When you force the wire, it gets a little tighter.
We didn't have any issues when they broke. We use these to secure our wire and panels to our posts on a regular basis. I can't imagine my life without them. The quality of these was excellent. We had no issues with them breaking off when we twisted them.
These were purchased to be used as a fence decoration. They hadn't even been on for a week when they rusted out. These are not something I would recommend.
A self-retracting twist tool is attached to the post fence. It saved me time and made my hands much more comfortable.
