That is an excellent point. The product is about 2 1/4" across the top and 2 1/8" from top to bottom, so don't worry about the box size.

In the mid-to-late 1930s, while attempting to install them, I broke two by taping the inner ears to the rebar ends with the heel of my hand. Yes, I did smooth out the rebar end to make it more dome-like. After running warm water over the rest of the installation, it went together without a hitch. Hopefully, once they're in place, they won't break when the weather turns cold again. It's a great idea, but it'll need to be molded out of a more durable plastic.
What is the worst that can happen? That's it for now. a) When I slid it onto my rebar, the splines broke, and the rebar isn't that big. The plastic is brittle. So they're just laying around on my 3/4" diameter spikes now. Perhaps they won't break if the rebar is much closer to the ideal size, bending the splines less. br>b) Will the plastic actually do its job if someone falls on it if it is this brittle? Hmm. Probably? br>br>Falls into the "complete garbage" category. You were only employed in one position.
I was looking for a rebar cap that was exactly what I needed. Good value for money and excellent quality! It gets two thumbs up!.
While doing some landscaping, I put these on some rebar I had on hand, and while they fit, the plastic on a couple of them broke when I pushed them over the rebar. The quality was a little disappointing.
Too bad I couldn't just buy a few instead of a large pack, but these worked perfectly to cover two grounding rods in my backyard for the safety of my children.
Caps are fantastic. Right out of the box, it's been put to good use. First and foremost, ensure that you are safe.
These were purchased to replace marker pins that were too large for my needs. I went back to Amazon.
Despite the fact that the pictures on the other listings appear to be very bright, the caps they sent were a dull brownish orange color. The color of S. 's caps, on the other hand, is quite striking. Co match the photos exactly. I'll be purchasing more of these in the future.
