2" is the correct number. Every time, I used a nearly 80-pound bag per mold.
My son does not believe it will be successful- The sides have a lot of height. He's only used the molds to pour concrete.
I'll eventually fill in the gaps with Polymeric Sand, though I've seen photos of people filling them in with top soil and planting/growing moss or some other type of ground cover.
Yes. There will be a distinct line space that an OCD person will notice, so how about diagonal molding and then filling in the gaps?

It's not only for paths!.
LOVE. This turned out to be a lot better than I had anticipated. It's sturdy and simple to use. It's too bad we didn't find out about this sooner. The only thing I would suggest is getting a concrete mixer for large projects.
From three 80-pound bags of concrete, I was able to make about four molds. I tried using a trowel, but quickly realized that packing and leveling them by hand was far easier, so I used some heavy, waterproof gardening gloves. To achieve a consistent sidewall, make sure to pack concrete into the corners of each "stone. ".
They perform admirably. They were given to our son, and he has used them numerous times. On the jobs, he gets a lot of praise.
The ideal tool with prompt service.
It was simple to create a lovely sidewalk with this mold. I'm not a landscaper by any stretch of the imagination. Although I dislike preparing the ground before beginning a project, this mold made creating my own sidewalk a breeze. Hand mixing the concrete for the mold is the most difficult part, but it is an excellent workout. The DIY video on the internet proved to be extremely beneficial.
It's very sturdy, and the thickness is just right! Although it contains a lot of cement, our backyard is already looking great!.
This appears to be well-made, but it takes two bags to fill at once, and I didn't do enough research before purchasing. I took measurements as well, and the grooves are quite deep, causing my son's wheelchair to become stuck. It's too bad because I was all set to start laying sidewalks all over the place.
