It's a corner that's been sanded down slightly to avoid a sharp edge at the glass's corners.
Just a smidgeon of a rounded shape. It isn't a square with a hard edge, but it isn't rounded either. It has a slight roundness to it, so it isn't a sharp corner. I hope this information is useful.

We bought a 42 x 72 inch rug that weighed in at a whopping 67 pounds. If you're ordering a 30 x 60, I'd estimate the weight to be around 46 pounds.

After years of having an acrylic tabletop and becoming tired of the scratches and paint stains, I decided to get this to cover my desk in my art studio. This is EXTREMELY GOOD- It cleans up so easily, and with a sheet of sketch paper from a roll underneath it, I always have a perfectly white desktop. Just wipe it off with some warm water or blue Windex, and everything comes off so easily. Be warned: this has a TINY green cast to it, but it's so much better than the easily-misunderstood version. I used to have some damaged acrylic. I wish I'd had this when I was younger- I have the impression that I have a brand new desk. br>br>I used Amazon Prime to order the glass, and it arrived in perfect condition, well-protected. In the box, it was well-padded, and there was no damage. I was half expecting it to break or crack in transit (which is why I chose Prime over vendor direct), but it was perfect when it arrived- All it took was a good cleaning to get rid of the static cling that was clinging to the dust from the padding.
Fab Glass and Mirror has very competitive prices, and their products consistently outperform those offered by my local glass suppliers. I got square corners instead of rounded ones on this order. Fab Glass and Mirror, on the other hand, worked with me to resolve the problem to my complete satisfaction. I not only would, but will, buy from Fab Glass and Mirror again. In order to prepare watercolor paper for painting, I stretch it out on large glass plates. This is accomplished by thoroughly wetting the paper and using gummed tape to adhere it to a flat surface. The paper then dries in tension, allowing for painting without the risk of the paper ripping or buckling. After the painting is finished, a box knife is used to cut it free from the gummed tape, and the glass backing is re-used. For large works, I find tempered glass to be a very useful, uncontaminated, and cost-effective medium. 3'x4' was the size of this one. Fab Glass and Mirror has done an excellent job.
I needed a desk that would fit in a 36"W space. Because I couldn't find anything I liked, I decided to make something myself. The glass is sturdy and perfectly sheer, with perfect measurements and cut. Even though the edges are smooth, I added a removable laminate on top to display photos and plastic guards around the edges for safety. Both of these items, as well as the two glass shelving units that hold it up, were purchased on Amazon. To keep the top layered glass from sliding, I ordered small round silicone adhesives from Amazon and placed them between the top of the shelving unit and the layered glass top.

In my man cave, I have an office desk - Because it wasn't the most expensive, it was scratched. Measuring the space, I discovered a large piece of tempered glass that seemed tailor-made for the desk. I used a few rubber dots to keep it in place - Cleaning is a breeze!.
The glass is thick and the edges are smooth. There are a few small bubbles in the glass (which are hidden by the keyboard), but it is otherwise excellent and will protect the top of my new desk perfectly.
I just opened it, and I must say, it was extremely well packaged. I placed the glass on top of our table after removing all of the packaging, and it fit perfectly. It does not slide in any way. Because it was going into our rec room and we have a high top table and chairs that our grandkids use all of the time, I didn't want the top of the table to get scratched. This is a fantastic method. I know this will last a long time because the glass is both durable and heavy.
