To mail it, I needed something sturdy enough to not weigh too much and not be too heavy to mail. It would be nice if these boards came in longer lengths than 12 inches, but during lockdown, we have to make do with what we have. I needed straight brackets to connect two boards so the length would be long enough, and these were the perfect fit. I was very pleased with the result of my flower piece - the florafoam adhered well to the wood! It was a hit with the bride.
The boards were smooth, straight, and of excellent quality. I found the shipping costs to be extremely overpriced. Besides, when you do the math and calculate price per board foot, you will probably find something else!.
This item matches the description. The surface is smooth, minimal sanding is needed (if needed at all).
My preferred boards are 5/4, and I am willing to pay a little extra for them.
