I can't give you an exact number because I installed it at a friend's house and it's currently unavailable, but I believe it's around 16. 5" x 6. 5". I hope this information is useful.

Yes, it is possible to install it, but there will be a gap. A 4-inch vent would be preferable.

Is it possible for the window to be lowered further?

According to my husband, it opens to a 90-degree angle.

We needed a small window for a small bathroom, so we used this vertically and it worked perfectly! Even though it's small, you can immediately feel the ventilation/breeze; it fits and functions like a window, even without the glass block wall.
