Questions & Answers

What's the best way to cut these tiles?

They can be easily trimmed with scissors or a straight edge and a utility knife.

In my kitchen, I currently have natural hard wood floors that I'd like to replace with these tiles. Would it be harmful to the hardwood if the tiles were removed?

Yes, the adhesive would wreak havoc on the floor.

If you want to replace them, how do you get rid of the adhesive? Do you intend to do the actual tiles at a later date?

FloorPops were designed with a strong adhesive to withstand foot traffic, which means they are NOT removable in the same way that our peel and stick NuWallpaper or wall decals are. They can, however, be taken away if you so desire- To wiggle under a seam and pop a tile corner up, we recommend using a scraper or another object with a thin, flat surface. You should be able to peel the tile away from the wall with your hands from there. Please keep in mind that because the adhesive is so strong, FloorPops are likely to lift paint if installed on a painted surface. It's also possible that when FloorPops are removed, some adhesive residue will remain. br>Any adhesive residue should be washed away with dish washing liquid and warm water.

I want to rip up the carpet, but there is no subfloor underneath it. Is it going to adhere to the plywood?

Most likely. I'd double-check that it's dust-free and smooth. Good luck

It went above and beyond my expectations
5/5

These pops of color on the floor are fantastic. In my bathroom and living room, I used them to cover up the unsightly tile. I sprayed them with a second coat of adhesive and caulked the bathtub with waterproof caulk. br>br>I installed them myself, and they look fantastic! I'm in a wonderful mood. For only $100, they completely remodeled my bathroom and laundry room!.

This is a fantastic option for a quick floor update
4/5

These tiles are well worth the money if you're looking for a quick fix for an unsightly floor. I put these on top of a perfectly level existing tile that was in good shape but was stained with that dreadful year 2000 marble green. The tiles were easy to cut with a pair of kitchen scissors and went down very well. Will they last? They appear to be quite sturdy, and they adhered well, but only time will tell. I ordered extras in case a few of them needed to be replaced in the future. (This is a tween bathroom) BUT, even if I only get a couple of years out of them, it was well worth the money for a quick and easy update that didn't necessitate hiring a contractor. My tween girls are ecstatic about their new bathroom. The only reason I gave it four stars was because of the following: To find pattern edges that match, you must rotate and go through your stack of tiles. You won't have any issues if you do this before removing the backing. It was only a minor annoyance that slowed down the process. So I'm just being picky because I did this small bathroom floor by myself in one day.

The tiles are fantastic, and the product is fantastic
5/5

However, you must cover a smooth surface. My tiles were a little rough, and they didn't stick as well going up the fireplace as they should have. Despite the fact that it says not to, I used another adhesive. Because I was using them on the fireplace, I used a non-flammable glue to be safe.

They aren't perfect if perfection is what you're looking for
3/5

So, I originally purchased this for a small bathroom floor, but my husband thought it would look nice on the wall as well. To keep them from falling off, we had to use spray adhesive on the wall. There are a few red marks, and many of them don't line up evenly, but it's difficult to tell from this distance. But, after using two boxes, I had no choice but to keep going.

A fantastic and cost-effective upgrade! My laundry room was a complete disaster! The old lino was from 2003, and we'd had six different renters in the last 12 years, so it was time to replace it
5/5

br>I nearly fell out of my chair when I looked into the real tile! These were suggested as a possible alternative. So I called my wonderful ex-husband and asked if there was anything he could do to assist me in starting this project. He said yes, so we moved Ry's dryer into place and began in the middle of the door frame, working our way up to the storage door and then the sides. We had to be very careful where we cut because the wall wasn't straight, but we ended up with very little waste. If the tiles don't match up perfectly, TRY ROTATING THEM ON ALL FOUR SIDES! We tried it somewhere else if the first didn't work. They aren't perfect, but go through the box and look for any that have minor flaws (we had one in each box (2. We only had 5 boxes for this job, so we used them all around the edges. It will be much easier to line things up later if you flip the tile upside down to match up edges, trace, and cut: )br>br>I'm so pleased with it that I ordered more to finish the storage floor, which is covered in the same hideous beige Lino. br>br>Ps I also ordered "glue," but the instructions said not to use it, so we scrubbed the floor, let it dry completely, and then laid these out as directed, but today (day 2) some of the corners are lifting, which is why we deducted a star. You simply stand on them and they will return to their original position, which is a bit of a bummer, but for the price? br>I'm not going to make a fuss! I have an updated floor that is stylish and BEAUTIFUL for less than $40 and 6 hours! br>Is there any way to compete with that? BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT.

Easy DIY
4/5

Once you get past the frustration of the tiles not lining up perfectly, it's a lovely design. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and even after letting my OCD run amok, not all of the tiles line up as neatly as I'd hoped. Regardless, it looks fantastic, and the flaws are barely noticeable when viewed as a whole.

Peel and stick tiles with a beautiful design
4/5

Peel and stick tiles with a beautiful design. It is very simple to set up. Even after rotating the tile, they don't match up perfectly, so I put it in my second-floor laundry room where only my family will see it. For better adhesion, I used gorilla glue adhesive spray. Without the spray, I'm not sure the tiles would have stayed in place. Although the instructions state that extra adhesion should not be used, the tiles aren't particularly sticky. I laid the laminate flooring directly on top of it, which was in great shape. I used krud kutter to clean first. We don't know how long it will last yet. I would recommend this product; however, you should also purchase the Gorilla Glue Adhesive Spray. I also purchased a wallpaper smoother to help press the tiles into place. To cut the tiles, I used a floor cutter. The first time you cut the tile, make sure it's straight.

Although I don't expect a perfect pattern match, it will suffice in my laundry room
3/5

You won't be able to get the pattern to line up perfectly, as I've mentioned in previous posts. The pattern can be 1/8" or more off at times. As a result, do not purchase for areas where you require a professional appearance. But, based on previous reviews, I knew that going in. In the laundry room, I mounted it on the wall behind the washer and dryer. As a result, the majority of the flaws are concealed, and it's not a space you'd want to invite others into. I needed more tiles, so I placed an order for more. The second order had flaws (as have been mentioned by others) - One has a flaw that looks like a crease and the other has pink lines/spots. Those will be tucked away behind the washer and dryer once more. It's simple to set up. I've noticed that two tiles behind the dryer are loose - Heat is most likely to blame. I'll need to use more adhesive in the future.
