It should look like meat trays your raw meat would come in. In painting, the paint wouldn't adhere to the surface. You might still be able to see white paint even after several coats. Nevertheless, I would have been charged 7 bucks since the rest would have been returned. It's not worth the money even if you buy it.
Painting the whole is easy and is well within their reach. The adhesive they used did not give them a problem for a long time so far.
It was fun, actually. Both I and my wife installed half the system. During our renovation of the bathroom, it really stood out.
They look incredible with a coat of primer applied to them, and I was amazed. Don't try to touch them, poke a hole through them and then go away. Styrofoam is its just barely there in thin form.
This is one of the worst products I have ever purchased. The label seemed to suggest paintable, but I'd rather not use it. Despite this, when I paint it some spots in and raperg that the paint just bubbles up and soaks in some places and not in others! I hate it.
It gave my basement a great appearance. I brighten it up with lightening.
I liked the fact that it was easy to install and worked really well. As well, it looks good. I wouldn't have complained if it were in a tight hallway. With the current busyness of this pattern, I would stick to a more plain pattern. In a large room, I don't believe I would be able to use it since it is so focused and could get in the way.
Before I found ceiling material at Home Depot, I had to find it. There is no waste of money. Having never bought from them again, I will never buy from them again.
