It was purchased by me as a cat scratching post so that she would have something to dig her claws into when she jumps up high on my bookcase. I am sorry to report that the adhesive backing is It's not how the product was intended to be used, but this uses it in a way that I would even question its ability to hold while vacuuming.

It was really easy to get these yesterday and I am glad I decided to purchase them. As a result, there is no easy access to a washing machine for me and I have a puppy who urinates everywhere. Although these were picked because of their washability, I was pleasantly surprised (and confused) when one of my tiles was covered in urine. There was no soaking because it sat on top, beaded up, and did not soak in at all. My first thought when I saw him was that he had vomited. I think it's excellent. There are two colors that I love and I have The scratching posts are a favorite of my cat as well. As well as sticking to place and being easy to clean, they are also easy to dispose of. This is a company that I would highly recommend. It can be tricky if you are putting these on something with texture or like my wood bed frame shown. Try putting these on something with texture or rotate them 90 degrees and see if that works.
