The idea of using them to move my furniture without damaging my hardwood floors appealed to me a lot. These assisted me in moving a couch. I used six of them, one for each leg that was on the ground. A few of the casters had already been left behind after I moved the couch just a few feet. think they are okay for just sitting under furniture so there isn't a mark left behind, but they didn't work for moving my piano, and they are just used under our casters to prevent marks being left behind on vinyl plank floors when they sit.

It is a good idea to place these under various pieces of furniture. It is protected in a discrete manner, even when furniture is moved around a lot, sometimes every day, as well.

In order to protect my carpet, it was important to me to buy these over the ones advertised for carpet (the kind with plastic teeth). With 1" square metal legs on my modern couch, and a very heavy dining table with similar legs, I have two modern pieces of furniture. As I expected, the ones with plastic teeth would eventually rip my rug, while these ones would be softer and provide a bigger footprint thus leaving a smaller indentation. I use them underneath my dining table because they are sturdy. I expect them to do what they say and they did just that. I won't be sliding and neither will my table. The table is extremely heavy, so it won't move too much. In reality, these don't work at all underneath the sofa. Seating on the couch causes it to slide a little bit. The sofa is light, and it is often a bit slippery when you are seated on it. As a result, the sofa slides a little off the casters and Due to their metal material, these casters are subject to deformation and bend after a while because the weight of the sofa (with someone seated on it) isn't always right in the middle, but sometimes on the edge if the sofa I have bent them all out of shape now, and I am looking for a replacement.
