This is not something I would do. Only the interior of a building can make use of these carpet tiles. Their health would certainly be affected by moisture and UV rays, I am sure. Shop at your local Big Box store for a more appropriate product.

The carpet squares are intended to be used by humans, so you might be disappointed if you want them for that purpose. It looks like the pile would not hold up to a lot of walking abuse due to its thinness. So, I bought these for making carpeted stairs for my lazy cat to get to her bed more easily, so I could make her life In the interest of transparent reporting, I'd like to say that she put them through the pet ringer to see if they performed well under abuse from small furry animals, but my cat doesn't seem to be able to It's just her nature to not climb on things, for better or for worse. In any event, these carpet squares look acceptable for the cat furniture, and should provide adequate comfort, should the cat choose to step on them sometime in the future. My carpet squares were purchased for a particular project in which they were effective. It is important to be careful about the applications in which you decide to use them.
During the restoration and update of my 65-year-old home, I have used 43 boxes in my attic as part of the latest renovation. The adhesive on these boxes is strong, so I started with a couple to test how well they adhere to wood floors. My recommendation is to try this product!.
Although it was a cement floor (with dogs), it worked great for an unheated teenage boys' room. Burgundy was the color we chose. Our tiles had shades of light color that were just a little bit lighter than the others, but we placed them along the sides where they wouldn't Although it doesn't seem extremely large, it was not needed to be very thick. This adhesive was very effective at adhering to the floor and we are very happy with the outcome.
