Questions & Answers
It's designed for natural stone, so I'm guessing it'll work on slate as well. Do a test run first; I use it on cream-colored Turkish Travertine. It's the softest stone, and it's also the most difficult to keep up with. I've been using it for about three years and have been pleased with the results. Before using it, it's a good idea to consult a retail floor store.
It doesn't foam up, so don't worry about that.
Because all stone cleaners remove a small amount of sealer, Stonetech recommends using Revitalizer, a clear sealer, on a daily basis.
It has a pH of 7 and is acidic. Unlike Windex and other cleaners, it is made with a neutral pH to prevent etching of the stone.

See how I get the formula out in my video. First and foremost, the cleaner's formula is quite effective. My bathroom was recently renovated, and my countertop is natural marble, with porcelain tiles. After speaking with the manufacturers, I was advised to purchase a good PH Neutral cleaner. I've used StoneTech products before and know they're a good brand; our contractor also recommended it, so I use it to clean my bathroom on a weekly basis and am pleased with the results. br>br>However, the container design of this cleaner is poor. It's a real mess when you pour out the cleaner. I sincerely hope that the container design could be tweaked to make pouring a lot easier. For the time being, I'm going to get the cleaner out with a long kitchen baster tool. I made a quick video to demonstrate how I did it, and you are welcome to watch it.
This product has made the floor look nice and appears to clean much better than previous products. I'm surprised because I didn't realize the products were so different. If it matters to whomever is reading this, this is used on stone tiles. I've tried it on ceramic, but the tile is around a toilet, so I can't tell if it's different - It's impossible to tell because there isn't enough light or gleam from the floor.
I am unable to comment on whether or not this product is effective. The outcome is the same whether I clean with vinegar and water or with this solution. It does not remove stains that are difficult to remove, as I had hoped. It's very difficult to pour the exact amount needed without a lot of spillage from the tank it comes in, and this stuff isn't cheap!.
"There is no need to rinse off," according to the Amazon site. however, on the bottle It states that after use, you should rinse. There is a significant difference here. When I didn't rinse off a dry counter, I got an allergic reaction in my eyes. Be wary. It cleans but does not provide a turnkey solution. After each use, wipe the counters down with a damp cloth.
When I refinished a 21-year-old table, I used this cleaner as the first step. year- All of the embedded dirt was removed from the old limestone floor using Gorilla diamond pads on an Oreck oscillating floor machine, and the floor now looks brand new after honing, rinsing, and applying a sealer (Bullet Proof Stone Sealer by the same company). Furthermore, the limestone tile surface is extremely smooth and comfortable to walk on barefoot.
Granite countertops are sold by a friend of mine. When ours was installed, the first thing the builder told me was that the granite needed to be sealed on a regular basis. This is the item she suggested. It's the only thing I use to clean my granite. It's concentrated, so depending on your goals, you can add more or less water. Although it appears to be costly, it lasts a long time and is well worth the money to protect your granite.
I'm glad I only have a small area to clean because it's time consuming, and it also doesn't clean the grout, which is a problem for me. It was a huge let down.
It does the job, but the scent irritates my allergies! If the smell of chemicals bothers you, don't buy! So I just squandered my money by purchasing it!.
