Mira Matte may not let moisture escape quickly from the substrate if there is too much moisture trying to escape from the substrate. Having done this to all of my house's tile - including two bathrooms and a kitchen - has been very effective. As a result of this product, the appearance would be enhanced. My opinion was backed up by the look, which I liked a lot. In this instance, I had a tile that stood out. Thus, it is. The tile is very porous, so I sealed it outside with three coats of pourous plus prior to installation. This product is awesome, even during the cutting process, the water and mud will roll off of the stone with little to no penetration by water. Pre-sealing your tile prior to installation is a good way of extending the useful life of this product. The rest of the time, it provided great protection and a great look. This is definitely something I will use again, but this time outside.
This color enhancer needs to be sealed before it can be applied. It is important to realize this requirement. Many people ignore this requirement and are unhappy with the results. When applying it, be sure to wear a mask to reduce fumes as the smell can be quite overwhelming.
I have used The Miracle Sealants matt enhancer has been used on an outdoor stone patio for several years. The product works GREAT when it comes to bringing out the natural colors and it lasts about two years before you have to buy a new one. As the product does have an odor, it may not be suitable for use indoors except in a forced-ventilation environment. The product and results are exceptional for outdoor applications, I am very happy with them.
Good enough for the job. In the shower, the water is still beading up after being used for more than four months. If you are thinking about buying it, I suggest you do so. The only problem is that the oily residue left behind was tricky to remove, given how I didn't mean to apply the product in the first place.

The best stuff is here! In my opinion, the Mira Matte available in California stores is not the original formulation. Prop 65, or other "regulations", may have affected the product if it had, I would have thought it would have been the original formulation. You can get the original here! Natural stone products benefit from this product as it provides luster and "wet look", without that shiny waxy appearance.
