What effect will this have on slate tiles if sealed and colored?

Natural disasters will not affect it at all and spills of wines, pomegranate juices, and coffee will not disturb it. The color will stay intact and the enhancement and bringing of the color will not be possible.

Are the Dupont exterior sealers shiny or do they have a wet look?

Our Heavy Duty Exterior Sealer is a no sheen product which will retain the natural appearance of the stone or tile. It is a good idea to test the sealer in a small area to determine results before sealing the entire surface.

When it comes to stones around chlorine pools, is it a good idea?

That would seem to be the case. The results can already be seen around the pool with chlorine, on the travertine. I applied it precisely where I wanted them to be. My favorite part of the product is its price, not so much the product itself.

The coverage is far less if used on travertine

Applied to travertine. Quite a bit more effort is required. Coffee stains are no match for this!.

This product seems to be overpriced but is good

A chimney at the front of the fireplace made of sand stone was sealed with this product. In accordance with the instructions on the label, there was enough product to coat the chimney twice. Despite the two consecutive rainy days, there were still some salt spots on the stone, but the intensity wasn't as great as it used to be. It is likely that 2 more coats will be required, which would require another gallon of paint.
