Yes, there is a visor clip.
Ummmm. It's just a garage "opener," not a garage door opener. To close the garage, you will need to purchase a "closer."
It's compatible with my purple-button Chamberlain. But I'm not sure what model I'm using. It said it would work on a model with a purple button, so I chose it.

I assumed this remote was a genuine Liftmaster remote when I ordered it. After receiving the remote, I discovered that, while it functions, it is a generic AccessMaster remote. I was dissatisfied with the misrepresentation.
If you're getting a new remote because your old one's range has worn out, check the batteries first. If they're good, look for LED lights in the area. My garage door remotes stopped working after I installed LED lights. My remotes worked fine after I replaced the LEDs with CFLs or incandesant bulbs, though the range was still limited. When I contacted the customer service line for my garage door opener, I was told that LEDs interfere with the RF (radio frequency) signal from the remote to the master unit. Their solution was to purchase a new LED-compatible main unit, which was quite expensive. They also stated that if you have LED lights anywhere near your garage door opener (even if they are turned off), they will interfere with it. WOW!.
Note: This only applies to garage door openers that have a purple button. br>Setup is a breeze. I pressed and quickly released the purple button while the garage door was closed. I pressed and held the button on the remote that I wanted to use to open the garage door until the light flashed, then released the button and it was done! It's super easy, and I no longer have to walk through the mosquito refuge camp that has set up shop outside my front door. (They keep coming back no matter how much or what I spray- Those obnoxious critters.
then it is used to close the garage. I'll sit there with the engine running, contemplating how difficult life can be. br>I mean, Burger King charged me an extra 50 cents for a slice of cheese on my whopper. . . how am I supposed to live in such a world?.
First, both units worked, but they had issues at first; the first unit's battery was dead, and I had to replace it. It is now operational. When the instructions for setting up the second unit were followed, it worked right away. br>Because both units had been opened and the battery isolation covers had been removed, the battery in both units was being drained. br>The Positive - Both units were compatible with LiftMaster garage door openers. br>The Negative - Both units had been opened before, one of which had a dead battery. br>Recommendations I would purchase these units again, but I would request that the supplier send me unopened units with new batteries.
For many years, I've had a Liftmaster garage opener on the two-car side of the garage. My wife recently purchased a new vehicle, and she needed to program the car button on her mirror. We couldn't program the garage door opener because our remote stopped working. The purple button on the unit's head would elicit a response. So I went out and bought a new remote, which I programmed in under three seconds! My son used the remote, while my wife used the cat button, and both worked flawlessly.
When placing an order, use caution! It's possible that you'll get a used remote control. br>br>When I first got the remote, I noticed a scar on the cover, indicating that it had been pried open. At the back of the remove, I noticed some scratched marks. br>I followed the guideline's instructions for setting up my garage door for 30 minutes, but it still does not work. In the end, I just used my old remote and changed the battery. and it worked in the end br>I'm curious as to why this company gave the customer a product that had already been used by others, while I was given a fully charged remote? Especially this COVID-related COVID-related COVID-related COVID-related COVID-related CO During the current financial crisis, it is extremely risky to use a secondhand product. br>br>I'm hoping for an explanation from the vendor!.
Doesn't work; tried two different garage doors with no luck; even tried a new battery with no luck. I bought one at my local Home Depot, and it worked perfectly. I'm curious if Amazon ever questions their sellers about where they get their "Name Brand" products from.
