This is a spare remote control for a Liftmaster LA500PKGUL gate opener that I purchased as a spare. In order to get an extra remote, the installer tried to charge me $100. When I saw that these remotes are only a few dollars apiece on Amazon, even less if you purchase this two-pack, I was shocked. Although I understand that businesses have to make a profit, $100 for a $12 remote (that the installer likely gets even cheaper than that) is outrageous. They were up and running in just 2 seconds.
